Finally!! A witness that gave the shooter's race. And a French witness at that! Not a white guy, he looked Arabic. Thank you, Frenchie!

1) Being Arab isn't a race, it's an ethnicity.

2) Arabs ARE Caucasians. While there's an infinite amount of debate in the scientific community over whether there actually ARE any races, or how many there are, there's generally accepted to be 3 or 4, and they ain't Asians, nor Amerindians, and only some are Negroid or partially Negroid.

Male open fired in ticket line at tom Bradly terminal. Two civilians killed, FBI assumed control of investigation, injured includes EL AL security personell, no information that leads them to believe that terrorist activities occurred, Action was ended by security personell, NFD,

The FBI is speaking now, isolated incident, still looking at what the hell happened, and that they are working close with LAPD. Quick response from security personell helped. They are trying to make a determination on where the perp was from. We dont know who did what.

FBI man seems to be avoiding further questions, other than this appears to be an isolated incident.... LAPD we were well equiiped to handle this incident.... We are not suggesting that anyone alters their plans.

We are ready for the rest of the evening.......

News conference: they're saying at the moment they don't feel it's related to any terrorist activities. An isolated incident. Let's hope they're right. My heart goes out to the families of the people who were killed.

Why can't they describe the shooter? And say who he was if he had ID? It's not as if it would violate his civil rights. The speakers at this press conference are assuming we're stupid. blah blah blah. We don't need to know who's on the case. We know who should be on the case. Just give us details. geesh.

The FBI guy must think we are idiots. He basically says, isolated incident, coincidental that it was at the El-Al counter.

Then he admits they don't know who the suspect is, how people got stabbed, or his motive.

Could somebody please merge these two things together for me, because I must be too stupid to know how the FBI knows that an arabic guy who they haven't ID'ed, randomly picked the El-Al counter with an automatic, and stabbed several people as well. Oye Vey.

Tom, that won't be as easy as you think. There are major security procedures in effect everywhere. I don't think trucks can just roll up in proximity to crowds tonight. Security was very tight last evening at a big festival here in St. Paul. Sniffer Dogs, guys talking into their collars and lots of uniforms and weaponry on display everywhere.

Airports are vulnerable because of the steady traffic flow. A crisis event, like today, would throw most security safeguards into disarray. A kneejerk response to evacuate the entire airport ... all terminals ... is lunacy IMO. Terrorists target airports because of the severe disruption any attack would level on American commerce and our way of life. It's a high-profile hit.
