The french guy (confirmed by reporter, not canadian) is back on FNC...

again said the guy looked arab or palestinian...

was putting his luggage into the scanner, heard 2 shots to his right, saw a guy attacking people, saw security, he jumped on the floor behind the scanner, heard 6-10 shots (15 or 20 secs)... few minutes later police, arrived, saw 3 bodies on the floor, man on the floor in El Al first class aisle, CPR being peformed on woman near counter...

He is angry at American security for not doing their job, should be more security for Israeli airline... he didn't see the knife himself...

The French guy said that the arab gunman held his arm out straight while shooting. Must have been armed with a handgun? The French guy was also pi**ed at American security for letting the terrorist get into El Al's ticket area. Wasn't it El AL security that wasted the terrorist?

DARNED STRAIGHT!! If there were "too many" guns, then the odds would be that at least one other person besides the perp would have been armed....and the perp(s I still believe their handler is wandering around loose) would have been dead before the attack could have been carried out.

Prediction: Local Arab male. Not actually attached to a terrorist group. Just heard one too many death to america speeches at the Mosque and decided to have at it. It is terrorism, but isolated. I could be wrong, but that is my gut feeling.

Uh, it is not that complicated. Your government is getting your tax money to keep you flying. They intend to do so by convincing you that airport security is in great shape. If you believe it...well...(to quote a famous action movie) just think of it as evolution in action.

While our hundreds of agencies are busy trying to take credit for the investigation, handling the wounded, closing off the perimeter of the airport, controlling the crowd, letting us know that flights are operating smoothly elsewhere, predicting that the investion will be thorough and precise, coordinating restroom services -
The simple fact is that the security service of an airline of a Nation that is organized to protect its people took swift and deadly action that probably resulted in the minimum loss of life possible given the circumstances!

Until we realize that we need a few very good men with very fine weapons to protect the high risk areas - not the hundreds of overlapping/conflicting/turf-consicious bureaucracies we have now - and that these men need to be given the authority to take action without prior consultation, this nation will be ever more vulnerable.
