The most interesting part of the equation is that American liberals/socialists seem to think of themselves as philosophical allies of the Taliban, forgetting, that if the latter came to world domination that THEY would be the first up against the wall. Reminds me of a woman I know who dabbles in Islam - goes to workshops etc. She has been unfaithful to all of her husbands and had abortions instead of children. Still she insists that Islam would welcome her. I am not making this up.
