A new form of AIDS has been discovered in Los Angeles, one which is untreatable.
Reasearchers have warned of the appearance of new strains of HIV, which due to patients abusing treatment programmes, have developed into super viruses which do not react to tradtional retroviral treatment.
It is claimed by the National Institutes of Health and the University of California that these super viruses are spreading fast in San Franciso among both the heterosexual and homosexual communities.
The reasearchers blame the attitude of average Americans for the current situation, stating that people have stopped taking the disease seriously and have ceased to practice safe sex.
Also therapies with drugs are not being respected, with patients in many cases beginning treatment and suspending during its course, making the virus multi-resistant to future therapies.
The researchers also claim that tens of thousands of people living in San Francisco have the new virus and that it is the new, multi-resistant strain of the virus which is passed on.
Given that California was one of the first focal points in the worldwide AIDS epidimic, it would be logical to assume that the same phenomenon will appear elsewhere in the coming years.
Given that the HIV virus is the one of the fastest to mutate, this seems like more of a certainty than a possibility.

I refuse to use the word 'gay' when referring to those afflicted with Same Sex Attraction Disorder.

Oh, my God!

How do you know?
If you read the Old and New Testaments, they both have tons of passages where God 'smites' people left and right for wrongdoing. TONS of such passages.
There was one passage in Exodus where some dude was picking up sticks on the Sabbath and God "smote him" for this offense. True story.
Now if He would smite this Exodus dude for stick-picking-up, would My Buddy in the Sky have any problems smiting a sickening, despicable, degenerate perverted homosexual who has anal intercourse with strangers thousands of times each year?
I don't think so.
The passage from Romans, above in the thread, is from the mouth of Paul, but it is essentially the word of God, and He says clearly that He is going to ding the homos for being the pervs that they are and that we all know them to be.
Open your eyes and stop being so politically correct!

Quarrantine. Works when it is caught in time.
A more sensible policy would be to blame homophobic conservatives for not promoting sex education for first graders.

Wait a minute, didn't some poster just put up a prediction that AIDS would be cured in the next 7 years, and that all the pessimistic "Bush-haters" were wrong? (Although how the two were at all related, I have no idea - it was a rather irrational and confusing post)

The 'f' word, as you refer to it, is used by homosexuals all the time. Besides that, I know a few homosexuals and have called them 'fags' (jokingly) on several occasions, with no repercussions, so I never really considered it to be offensive, just slang.

I think General Ripper found out about your preversion, and that you were organizing some kind of mutiny of preverts. Now MOVE!! You're going to have to answer to the... Coca-Cola company.

If God had created AIDS to punish homosexuals, every homosexual on the planet would be dead already and Ryan White and Kim Bergalis would still be alive. In the physical world, the consequences resulting from poor choices (like jumping off a bridge) are usually immediately evident. The consequences resulting from poor spiritual choices (like telling a lie) are usually delayed.
This case seems to be something in between.

Actually Pravda takes stories that are 'too hot' to handle and puts them out from foreign sources most of the time. Then where's the foreign source for this one?

"The gay "community" is so rancorous and embittered that I would be willing to wager that they would prefer AIDS take on an airborne status before they would lift a finger to take responsibility for the existence of the disease within their own ranks. The gay Mafia would rather everyone became susceptible to the virus rather than addressing the ways to reduce the virus among themselves Oh my gosh, you're right! I nominate uburoi2000's statement here as quote of the day. Worth repeating bump.

There seems to be a logical disconnect between the assertion that we need only to fork over mega-billions more in taxapayer monies to devise new treatments, and the assertion that this won't cost us a penny, but libertarians assure me this is true. Ummm, in the libertarian view, it wouldn't be the government's responsibility to devise new treatments either. So gays can kill themselves off with their behavior, and we're free to NOT pay for it. Hope this helps!

I think God gives people the rules and a free will, and, they more or less auto-ding accordingly.
That's another way of looking at it.
