I'm sure some people remember this story from 4 months ago when an FBI goon shot and dismembered the face of Joseph Schultz misidentifying him for a bank robber. He was coming from the mall with his girlfriend and was pulled over by the FBI.

This is a disgrace. The FBI agent should have been fired, and sent to a federal "pound me in the a_s" prison. And the government wonders why people have little faith in the FBI, CIA, etc... at preventing future terrorist attacks.

As I said on the other thread (that got yanked because it was a full text article from the Baltimore Sun):

They really are above the law.

This federal cowboy and Lon Horiuchi would make a matched set. Everyone knew he would walk. It will get worse with time, and the citizens are asleep.

Anyone who would question anything any LEO would do is desecrating the graves of the 911 FDNY and NYPD heroes who died on September 11, 2001.

The article makes it seem that the DA's hands are tied now and can't prosecute the FBI agent as the grand jury came back with an unfavorable verdict (we'll never know the actual vote count on it). Is this true?
Thankfully Schultz's civil lawsuit will bring out some more of the facts in this case.

Schultz was trying to follow the agents' orders to get out of the car when he was shot on the side of Fort Smallwood Road.

"We're pleased that the Anne Arundel County state's attorney and the grand jury has completed this phase of the process, which allows us to move forward with a civil case against Mr. Braga and any other person responsible for the shooting of an innocent man," Weiner said.

It's open season on innocent civilians and the taxpayers get to foot the bills!

Why did the fed pull the trigger? The victim was unarmed right? I didn't follow the story, but find it interesting. Did the fed testify in court that he accidently fired on the victim? Or did he say the victim made a threatening move? Thanks..

Christo[her Braga and every agent on that stop needs to be prosecuted. This was a no brainer reckless endangerment. No Felony stop done and an innocent kid who reaches to unfasten his seat belt after being ordered out of the car is shot becuase of the failure to follow procedure. Following the shooting of the eagle scout the FBI agents delayed medical treatment for the wounded serf. After all they had to be certain they tortured him a little more.

Stay well - Stay safe - Stay armed - Yorktown

You have to understand that Annapolis,MD.(Anne Arundel County)is the Maryland State capital and a haven for corrupt politicians and organized crime.

FBI,State,& local law enforcement agencies spend a large portion of their time and resources protecting, promoting, & facilitating Maryland's corrupt politicians and organized crime in Annapolis, in exchange for this police protection the politicians make certain that no law enforcement agents are ever prosecuted for criminal activities, violations of the "Rule of Law" or the Constitution, it is a two way street.

I have had limited personal dealings with Dave Midura,Special Agent in Charge of the FBI field office in Annapolis, Midura is as dirty & corrupt as any FBI agent you will ever meet so is his collegue, Special Agent, Marina Murphy.

It is a disgrace.

The F.B.I. Agent committed attempted murder.

In the absence of knowing that the target definitely is a criminal on the loose, the authority to take life is also absent a direct threat --- there is no allowance for maybe.

Mr. Schultz was entirely innocent.

This is an example of the worst abuse of government power by a government agent.

The F.B.I. Agent should not only lose his job and benefits --- because of his gross misconduct and ignorance --- but he, not knowing who he was shooting at in his actions where he was the first to fire, especially absent the appearance of a weapon in Mr. Schultz's hands --- violated every tenet of a law enforcement officer's responsibility to restrain from taking life:

Therefore the F.B.I. Agent did not have the power under our rule of law.

That Mr. Schultz might have appeared --- by his action to reach for his seat belt release, to maybe, could have, perhaps ... well ... he possibly had a weapon --- offers no basis for the taking of life.

There was no weapon visible at any time; not even the shape of a weapon; not even the shadow of a weapon; not even the glint of a weapon; not even the sound of the metal of a weapon.

The F.B.I. Agent meant to kill Mr. Schultz; the Agent tried to "blow his head away" --- Braga meant that the victim should never talk.

It was attempted murder.

Allow me to be one of many to say BS.
The agent in question should at LEAST be assigned to toilet bowl cleaning before being fired and thrown in jail.
