An Anne Arundel County grand jury has decided not to indict an F-B-I agent in the mistaken shooting of an unarmed Pasadena man.
The panel began considering the case last week, and heard testimony from the shooting victim, Joseph Schultz, and his girlfriend, Krissy Harkum.
F-B-I agent Christopher Braga thought he had cornered a bank robbery suspect when he shot Schultz in the face. Schultz was in the passenger seat in Harkum's car as they were returning from a shopping tip March 1.
The F-B-I and Anne Arundel County police investigated the shooting, and the county state's attorney's office took the case to the grand jury.
Braga has already returned to regular duty.

they will settle out of court and "WE VILL KNOW NUTHING".
Mark my words. The gubment does not want us thinking that FBI agents can shoot anyone they want to and get away with it.

Why did the fed pull the trigger? The victim was unarmed right? I didn't follow the story, but find it interesting. Did the fed testify in court that he accidently fired on the victim? Or did he say the victim made a threatening move? Thanks..

I deliberately omitted the </sarcasm> tag to make the following point: there are many NAZIs here on Free Republic who don't even blink when they see it, they agree with it so much.
September 11th justifies any curtailment of liberty and justice that our "betters" say, don't you know?

An obvious agitator who has been reported as such. An obvious moron who has been reported as such.

It was a bank robbery, so the Feds can be involved and be in charge of the investigation. Even with their shoot first ask questions later modus operandi.

Christo[her Braga and every agent on that stop needs to be prosecuted. This was a no brainer reckless endangerment. No Felony stop done and an innocent kid who reaches to unfasten his seat belt after being ordered out of the car is shot becuase of the failure to follow procedure. Following the shooting of the eagle scout the FBI agents delayed medical treatment for the wounded serf. After all they had to be certain they tortured him a little more.

He was fired on when removing his seatbelt. And he was unarmed, unless you count the potential deadliness of a slurpee.
The Feds also waited about an hour to get medics on the scene. (The FBI had to have quickly known it was a bad shooting.) Schultz could have died.

The fed fired on him as he was exiting the vehicle. The fed would not testify. After shooting him in the face the cops pinned him on the ground and left him lying there until an ambulance showed up. Don't have an original FR link, sorry.

The perpetrator of the bank robbery was driving a red
Honda Civic. This innocent civilian was getting into the passenger side of a red
Pontiac Grand Am Oh yeah, these look identical / sarcasm

He's gonna wear the abuse button out on you, lol It is better to keep empty heads busy at something innocuous, otherwise they might find real mischief to get into.

I think that the comment is entirely appropriate, and not out of step with "freeper values."

Victim is the nephew of a congressman, Ehrlich, I think.
To: Ciexyz
Is this another case of "white federal officer" shooting a "black citizen"? Anybody know the race of these people? Since Pasadena isn't aflame we can safely make some basic assumptions here.

Bob and Kendel reside in Timonium Maryland, just a few miles away from Bob's boyhood home. He was re-elected to his fourth term in Congress in November of 2000 with 70 percent of the vote. Kendel is now a community relations specialist with Comcast Cablevision, and remains active on the Board of Cystic Fibrosis. Bob and Kendel are the parents of Drew Robert, born July 24, 1999. "These are proud times in the Ehrlich household," Bob said at the outset of the 107th Congress, "and it is time that all families be afforded similar opportunities to achieve their hopes and dreams."Nope.

And no charges? Absolutely unbelievable.
Taking a round in the face has got to be extremely brutal. Thanks for the information.
