No, a Texan who takes his American and Texas lineage to heart and has the backbone to stand by it.
An "American" who heeded the lessons of thousands of "Americans" that went before him.
Texas and America should be proud of MICHAEL G. NEW .
Absolutely!
Thank you. I felt it was appropriate for Independence Day and the spectre of the World Court.
Yes. The present (and rightfully so) furor over involvement with the World Court would seem to validate Michael New's stand.
I should have added that it was always valid among those of us who revere the Constitution, and should remind everyone why we celebrate July 4.
We started off with a prayer followed by robust accapella renditions of various new(Vaus) and old patriotic songs, and then Michael New's Grandmother Ruth New (a brave and fascinationg woman in her own right) got up and gave us an insightful talk about Michael, his background and upbringing.
Raised in Texas and homeschooled by Christian parents, he was taught alot of history (World/U.S./Texas) and exposed to family values and solid patriotism by his Grandmother, an active John Birch Society letter-writer of many many years. Her talk was wonderful and inspiring.
Then we sang a few more patriotic songs about our love for America and our way of life, before we ceremoniously BURNED a United Nations Flag. The local TV cameras were rolling throughout, and as we danced around the smoldering blue nylon puddle, I gleefully shouted for all the world to hear, "SO MUCH FOR THE ROCKEFELLER FAMILY FLAG"
An uplifting and spirited time was had by all 50+ attendees ... a much needed respite after so many many, dark dark days of Klintonism, and fear for the very survival of our nation.
Even a few of the liberal mind-numbed Channel 2 & 13 'News At Six' camera folks seemed to 'get it'.
Some day I'll get my techy-self together enough to at least post-up a few photos of the event from my video.
More than six years after he was penalized for refusing to put on the United Nations uniform and to submit to the command and control of a foreign military officer, and having exhausted his military appeals when the United States Supreme Court denied his petition for Writ of Certiorari, Michael New now seeks to re-open the habeas corpus proceeding he filed in 1995 in an effort to obtain a judicial determination of the constitutional issues presented by the government's actions. Our firm filed a motion for leave to file an amended and supplemental habeas corpus petition in the United States District Court for the District of Columbia, which the government has opposed.

So how does your military service record compare, Mr.Laaw-ya?
Michael New is a PATRIOT for not bowing down to the UN scum.
And by the way:
Michael New is no better than Bill Clinton in terms of the contempt he's shown for our military. He disobeyed a direct order. For that he got what was coming to him. No different than the officers that publically denigrated Bill Clinton as commander in chief. A real solider must at ALL times keep their military bearing.
Tim McVey was highly decorated too. So was John McCain. Do you have their posters on your wall too?
