Support Our Troops Rally and Peacenik FReep in Fresno, CA 6-28-02

Tonight's Fresno, CA "Support Our Troops" and "Peacenik FReep" rally was attended by seventeen FReepers and patriots. FReepers who were able to make it tonight were:

I counted nine peaceniks across the street from us tonight. The peaceniks had a little graveyard set up on the hood of one of their cars. One grave stone was for "Truth", one was for "Freedom of Speech" and so on. They held their usual signs that said such things as "United Against War" and "Find the Commmon Ground". They had a new one too. It said "Not Under My Name". I guess that means that they don't approve of the actions of the Bush administration and our military.

JKphoto brought a new sign that quoted the Pledge of Allegiance with "One Nation, Under God" blown up really big. Great sign JKPhoto! At one point tonight, we all stood together in a group and said the Pledge of Allegiance.

Response from those driving by was very enthusiastic as usual. It's very rewarding to know that the people of Fresno agree with us in supporting President Bush and the troops.

A big thanks to all who attended the FReep tonight. To all those who couldn't join us tonight, we missed you and hope we will see you next week!

Ironic how the peaceniks are quoting the Bible, when clearly they probably only worship the trees and spotted owls. No where did the people of the Bible hesitate to go to war against their enemies and it was with the Blessings of God.
However, I doubt they actually know what is in the Bible! Great report, and thanks again for the yummy lunch!

Now that you have committed to go to the shindig, lets get together with our ladies and warm things up on Freeper Island the previous Friday. I am getting the urge to challenge the non-honkers again. I feel good and limber with the warm weather.
