President Bush announced today that he will undergo a colonoscopy tomorrow at Camp David, a routine checkup after doctors found benign polyps a few years ago. The procedure will mark the first time there has been a transfer of power to the Vice President while a President has been sedated for a medical procedure. When asked how he feels, the President said that he felt fine and was looking forward to an afternoon of exercise, after the procedure is done. Earlier in the day, Bush attended a fundraiser for Rep. Connie Morella, R-Md. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

'I don't know if this as been addressed. July 6 is the birthday of President
Bush. Should there be a card shower from identified 'Bushbots'? '

Dubya was born on July 6h? Oh my, is his mother always two days late for important events? LOL!

Your idea for a Bushbots card shower is wonderful.

The usual breed that I am informed shares my name is Dachshunds. However, to have this name-sharing information be the first words out of someone's mouth can really make an introduction go splat!

My mother went to visit her granddaughter in South Carolina and her greatgranddaughter was confused about names because she had four grandmothers and grandfathers there at the same time. They told her to call her grandparents names like Grandad John and Grandad Ray to avoid the confusion. When her father's mother arrived, the child threw her arms around her and kept saying, Grandma Doggie, Grandma Doggie. Her grandmother looked confused and her parents looked embarrassed. UNTIL they remembered that my mother's name was Kitty.

Three and a half hours??!

That's way worse than what they give to you during labor! You might have the baby in the wrong place if they did! LOL!

I don't imagine that the President and First Lady got much sleep last night.

Now there's a surprise.

You know I was a very innocent person until I started lurking at FR a year and a half ago, and got corrupted.

I was...........really.........I was!!

actually, I was in a really feisty mood last night, and mr. ohio was out of town.

Apologies for getting the Psalm posts "out of order". Did part I of Ps 21 on 6/25 - part II of Ps 21 on 6/27 and Part 1 of Psalm 22 in between on 6/26! Sheesh! This is the completion of Psalm 22. Tomorrow we'll be back on the right track with a Psalm most of us know and love....then onward and upward with a new Psalm tracking method for moi!

Psalm 22 vs 22-31

        22I will declare Your name to My brethren;
        In the midst of the assembly I will praise You.
        23You who fear the LORD, praise Him!
        All you descendants of Jacob, glorify Him,
        And fear Him, all you offspring of Israel!
        24For He has not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the afflicted;
        Nor has He hidden His face from Him;
        But when He cried to Him, He heard.

        25My praise shall be of You in the great assembly;
        I will pay My vows before those who fear Him.
        26The poor shall eat and be satisfied;
        Those who seek Him will praise the LORD.
        Let your heart live forever!

        27All the ends of the world
        Shall remember and turn to the LORD,
        And all the families of the nations
        Shall worship before You.
        28For the kingdom is the LORD's,
        And He rules over the nations.

        29All the prosperous of the earth
        Shall eat and worship;
        All those who go down to the dust
        Shall bow before Him,
        Even he who cannot keep himself alive.

        30A posterity shall serve Him.
        It will be recounted of the Lord to the next generation,
        31They will come and declare His righteousness to a people who will be born,
        That He has done this.

That's OK, FWI........in or out of order, your posts of the Psalms are a blessing!

I think I figured out what Psalm tomorrow's is! :o)

Praise the Lord for a positive outcome of the President's procedure!

The man is a physical wonder! God must be blessing him with extraordinary strength during this time.......he walked 4 1/2 miles with Laura this morning, and did a light workout this afternoon.........amazing!!!

I'd be lying around sipping mint julips if I were he!

Good - thanks! Yes, indeed......most people would not be walking or working out right after that procedure. Amazing. I hope they get some rest and then some "recess" appointments of Judges.....knowing they have resisted such efforts - but they should do it anyway. Go on back and pick pickering, as far as I care.

I mentioned it on another thread, but I believe that this hideous decision in the 9th Circuit is going to end up being positive, not only because it is so ridiculously leftist that it has incensed the American people, but because it has called attention to the fact that lil Tommy, the Obstructionist is keeping the judiciary from functioning.

I don't believe that most Americans have been paying much attention to the leftward slide of the Federal judiciary, but this anti-American, anti-God decision certainly has. Maybe this will be the impetus to get things moving. I'm with you, FWI, W should fill the benches with 'recess' appointments.

And I still think Dick Cheney should have made some appointments this morning while he was President! LOL!

Hey, are you twins?
No, I am confident she is much older than I am! (LOL) Thanks so much for the wishes!

The odds are that I am much older than you. I've already had more years to enjoy being an American. May we both have many more.
