President Bush announced today that he will undergo a colonoscopy tomorrow at Camp David, a routine checkup after doctors found benign polyps a few years ago. The procedure will mark the first time there has been a transfer of power to the Vice President while a President has been sedated for a medical procedure. When asked how he feels, the President said that he felt fine and was looking forward to an afternoon of exercise, after the procedure is done. Earlier in the day, Bush attended a fundraiser for Rep. Connie Morella, R-Md. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

Bill Kristol actually was funny on Special Report tonight. He said that Dick should get a plan for attacking Iraq during the time he's assuming the Presidency, so that W can keep saying, "There's no plan on my desk!" LOL! Kristol said that???
John Gibson said the exact thing on his show right before Special Report aired

If Al Gore stands in front of HIS white house, they could decorate him for Christmas.
No wonder the man's an evironmentalist.

I join all of you in prayer for the President's health. While I understand that a colonoscopy is a routine medical procedure, I know from my husband's experiences that it is also a very uncomfortable, VERY dehydrating procedure. It worries me 'abit that the President plans to run in the afternoon -- Laura needs to watch him VERY closely!!
On a different topic, I hope all of you who wanted to call members of the Senate Judiciary Committee got the list that I posted yesterday; however, I failed to include the telephone number for the biggest judicial OBSTRUCTIONIST: John McCain -- who is now singlehandedly preventing the review of three jurists who are waiting to be assigned to the 9th District Court of Appeals.
John McCain:
DC: 202/224-2235
Phoenix: 602/952-2410
FYI: C-span 2 will air the President's announcement of his medical procedure at 12:11 AM eastern.

Sorry, I missed to Phillipino contribution to the Carville Collection. Do you have a copy to share with the class?
(P.S. - How's the golf game?)
To: MJY1288
Can you blame him? :-)I suppose he just needs a few more alpha male lessons, then maybe Tipper won't have to keep that nasty ole self-portrait hanging in the hallway.

What did eGore mention about the rich people???
I think he said something like---------it's the President and the Republican's fault for all the corporate colllapses because they all wanted to get rich-----or something similar. Same old, same old.

My pleasure! Glad you like it!
