A young blond coed, to make money for college, hired herself
out as a handyman, and started canvassing a well-to-do
neighborhood. She went to the front door of the first house and asked the owner if he had any jobs for her to do.

"Well, you can paint my porch. How much will you charge?"
The blonde after looking about, said, "How about 50 dollars?"
The man agreed and told her that the paint and other materials that she might need were in the garage.

The man's wife, inside the house, heard the conversation and
said to her husband "Does she realize that the porch goes all
the way around the house?"

The man replied "She should, she was standing on it. Do you
think she's dumb?"

''No....I guess I'm guilty of being influenced by all
the 'dumb blonde' e-mails we've been receiving."

A short time later the blond came to the door to collect her
money. "You're finished already?" he asked.

"Yes," the blonde replied, "and I had paint left over, so I
gave it two coats." Impressed, the man reached into his pocket
for
the $50.00.
"And by the way," the blonde added, "it's not a Porch, it's a
Lexus."

Hey, I want ON it! LOL! I was looking for the thread! This is so funny - I knew you said you were going to post it shortly after midnight (your time), but I didn't see any pings to it this morning! I was reading the rest of last night's and saw the link here! (You might want to put my name in the ping list where YOURS was!) Great job, Lori! Beautiful tribute to a fantastic FReeper and California Patriot Babe!

Hey Just! You are such a dedicated FReeper and a dear friend of mine! Thanks for sending care packages to the troops and for being brave enough to get right out there on the corner of Blackstone and Shaw when you are the first to arrive to counter-protest the pro-terrorists, even those times that there were a hundred or so of them. I admire you more than I can say.

The Pope met with his Cardinals to discuss a proposal from Benjamin Netanyahu, the leader of Israel.
"Your Holiness", said one of his Cardinals, "Mr. Netanyahu wants to challenge you to a game of golf to show the friendship and ecumenical spirit shared by the Jewish and Catholic faiths."
The Pope thought this was a good idea, but he had never held a golf club in his hand.
"Don't we have a Cardinal to represent me?" he asked.
"None that plays very well," a Cardinal replied. "But," he added, "there is a man named Jack Nicklaus, an American golfer who is a devout Catholic. We can offer to make him a Cardinal, then ask him to play Mr. Netanyahu as your personal representative. In addition to showing our spirit of cooperation, we'll also win the match."
Everyone agreed it was a good idea. The call was made. Of course, Nicklaus was honored and agreed to play. The day after the match, Nicklaus reported to the Vatican to inform the Pope of the result.
"I have some good news and some bad news, your Holiness," said the golfer.
"Tell me the good news first, Cardinal Nicklaus," said the Pope.
"Well, your Holiness, I don't like to brag, but even though I've played some pretty terrific rounds of golf in my life, this was the best I have ever played, by far. I must've been inspired from above. My drives were long and true, my irons were accurate and purposeful, and my putting was perfect. With all due respect, my play was truly miraculous."
"There's bad news?", the Pope asked.
"Yes," Nicklaus sighed. "I lost to Rabbi Tiger Woods by three strokes."
