They called Newt Gingrich ''stupid.'' Ronald Reagan and George W. Bush are just said to be ''dumb.'' They also called the man who led the largest invasion fleet in world history a "blockhead." Eisenhower was too stupid to be President according to liberals.

"she's about 4/5ths an entertainer"
Unfortunately, I have to agree. Lately she seems self-obsessed, resorts to zingers (which frequently aren't all that clever) rather than argument, and generally makes a bad impression. In the old days, she would argue conservative ideas; now, she just plays a role.

Ann may have been out-blabbed, but I don't think she got out argued. I read the transcript not having seen the "interview." Sans the emotions of live viewing it appears to me that Ann was not out-witted at all.

What do you think of David Horowitz? Because I see Ann and David as two peas in a pod: they're both street fighters. They're willing to get right down in the gutter, exchange nasty comments and not flinch.
Whether you like it or not, we need more like her. Politics is a contact sport and the left has been doing all the hitting for far too long.
Not everyone that publicly espouses the conservative view is going to talk, look and act like William F. Buckley.

I've kinda got a thing for Perky Katie too. Shhh...don't tell anyone.

As much as I can't stand KC -- have you ever seen the picture of her in her cheerleading uniform?

You should take up heavy drinking.

Bump for our Ann!!! I'm so proud of her.

Hey, I love Ann. But, thanks to my friend Grit and his post #54, perhaps you can understand. If you don't think she's hot in that picture I'd be willing to bet you weren't ever THAT lucky. ;-)

And I heard that Couric said that Nancy Reagan had called to thank her for her coverage; I'd like to really hear what Nancy Reagan thinks of Couric. She will twist anything to have control. I've noticed that she is a control freak.

Regarding your theory: Interesting that I once posted a respectful and glowing review of Dr. James Dobson's book - to counter all the liberals who'd posted hate-filled invective calling him cruel and heartless (for advocating corporal punishment under certain circumstances).
My review was NEVER even posted. I've wondered ever since.

Ann Coulter??? Oh yeah... she's that gal that went on the today show looking like a tramp. And...then proceeded to get out argued by Perky Katie of all people. Is this Jim Hightower?
To: Elkiejg
I had the pleasure of seeing Ann on C-Span one night - Delivering a talk at a liberal university. The students were hostile and shot their questions while Ann adroitly hammered them with common sense answers. She became my hero with her poise and logic! And she never broke a sweat.
Yes, I agree I sometimes wish she'd tone down the vamp image... It detracts from the message, IMHO. But different strokes for different folks. Especially the guys!
To: Elkiejg
I think she (Coulter) did well on Today, but she must have been tired by the time she hit Hardball last night. She was asked for an opinion on the 9th Circuit Courts decision on the Pledge of Allegiance and she stumbled all over herself admitting that she had not even heard about it because she had been busy doing book interviews all day. It was a real "soft ball" question that she could have hit out of the park but it went badly.
