I had them in basic training from so much marching. That was a long time ago but I remember how painful shin splints are. Poor baby. Get hubby to massage your legs for you. I don't remember if heat or ice works best for that.

No, I had Attila the Bun on my Profile Page. I scanned it from a greeting card I bought just because I loved it. LOL

CHIEF Negotiator was my friend and he surprised me one day and had taken it and added to it then made me an Honorary Marine which meant everything in the world to me.

I love All the branches of service but there is something in my heart that is labeld Marine and always has been.

All my Uncles served our country and my favorite one had been a career Marine.

That's because Starman is an ALIEN! He must be! Spookie, here's the evidence we've been searching for.

Y'all know that ordinarily I would be in my bed fast asleep by midnight every night. Starman must've used his super secret Alien powers on me to render me incapable of sleeping! And, here's more proof... when we were slow dancing under the stars on the Canteen veranda, I swear he used his powers to levitate my body 2-inches off the floor! My feet weren't even on the ground. Really!

Well, I don't have Alls-heimers yet. I have Part-timers.

WE have been so fortunate with the care my brother has had. There have been some major mistakes, like the time they decided his time was up and they put him on a commercial jet without oxygen and sent him back to Wadsworth in LA from Palo Alto. As soon as he got to LA they left him in a hallway for a couple hours until I called and had them find him! Then they loaded him back on a private jet and sent him back to Palo Alto! That was a major f%%%up! And he absolutely HATES the VA center in Long Beach! That place creates problems enmasse! But the local center has usually been very responsive and done a good job. There are some problems with funding and the various centers are often connected to University Hospitals so it does matter where you are going! It shouldn't. They have sent my brother via private jet with a nurse to a specialist facility several times. BUT, damn it! Veteran's deserve to EXPECT the best treatment available!!!!!!! Why should some congressman who has never done anything of substance get better care then our vets???? Health care in the US has deteriorated so much since Hillary started messing with it. Rant!!!!
