Its time to stop the whacko few and their socialist lawyers from running the country.
Maybe it also time to get the government out of the educatuion business, since we're not allwed a voice in that either.
What happened to the other thread?

Uh, Julie...they were appointed by Nixon, Bush I and Carter. On this one, sorry to say Clinton's innocent. And I never thought I'd see the day I'd type Clinton and innocent in the same sentence! :-)

Don't you understand that if my children were going to public school, which thank God they are not, that they would not be allowed to recite the Pledge of Allegiance? This idiotic ruling handed down today by two liberal leftist judges told this country NO MORE PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE. IT'S UNCONSITUTIONAL. What don't YOU understand about that??? Wrong. The headlines say the pledge is unconstitutional, not the ruling. The ruling says that teachers can't recite it with "under god".
It does not prevent your children from saying it. As far as I can tell, it does not prevent a teacher from reciting it without the "under god".

Sounds like we need someone like Rep Chris Cox on this Court of Appeals and the sooner the better. Wonder if Feinstein and Boxer will object this time?
Jeff Sessions from Alabama is slamming the RATS for not approving Pres Bush's nominees right now. He is doing fantastic! Been talking about activists Courts. We never had a problem with this for 50 years. He also went after the SCOTUS for their rulings on prayers at Football games, graduation, etc.

I honestly believe we have one party or ruling class with two parts (Dem and Rep.) who alternate their time in office back and forth just for grins. Not really...but the idea that the Republican party is ideologically different from the Democratic party is insanity. I guess I'm not that surprised that this Pledge non-issue is causing so much heat and so little light...but I am saddened.

Every newscast I have heard is talking about how mad the people are and the fact that daschle is holding up Pres Bush's common sense nominees for judges.

The one appointed by Bush I dissented from the opinion. Also, the judge Nixon appointed was appointed when the dems had a big majority in the Senate. (Just thought I would point out the importance of getting the Senate back!)

"... I see this as possibly the last straw before the people rise up and really take back their country from the America-haters and atheists who control it." I see several haystacks of general apathy and a herd of strong-backed camels.

If America ever needed God's blessing and guidance, it's nowain't that the truth!
I just made a big sign for my truck window. In big bold letters: "One Nation Under God" and "In God we trust".

I am with you. I am just flat out furious.....I cannot remember when I have been this mad! With all the real substantive issues out there to be mad about, why should this little trifle trigger such rage? Talk about your style over substance, I thought that's what we always criticized the liberals about.

This is where We the People need to stand up and be counted, by praying in unison at graduations etc. Take the Kids to school and say the Pledge at the Flag pole, parents and kids together. First Monday in October have a 1,000,000 Americans recite the Pledge on the steps of the Supreme Court!
Let the Revolution Begin!!!

I wish there had been this much outrage...heck...any outrage over Bush's bizarre recent spending spree.

The American Revolution started over a tax on tea, it's called the straw that broke the camels back.

The 9th District judges seem to overlook the fact that we have freedom OF religion, not freedom FROM religion.

Thanks for the Petition; it's been sent to everyone I know. This judge has got to GO.
