My Fellow Freepers....I dont' even know if this is allowable under the posting rules but I am so incensed by this ruling by that appeals court, I decided to post this offer!
If its pulled, so be it!
I offer one FREE Sheet of Pledge of Allegiance 0cents Stamps (10 self-adhesive stamps) to any Freeper who sends me a SASE (Self Addressed Stamped Evelope)!
This is one of my favorite stamps from both a message and an artistic viewpoint. It was designed by my Freeper wife several months ago - way before this 9th Circuit BS.
I just want my fellow Freepers, on this sad day, to have a sheet of these 0cents Stamps showing those beautiful words of the Pledge of Allegiance superimposed on our Flag.
Here's the mailing address:

It's been rather inactive for some time now due to extensive retrofits in avionics and weapons sys upgrades.
Testing continues on a "smart" canister that would dispense leaflets over all the blue zone areas.
FRAF is rested & ready to go. Your idea has merit.....hmmm.
How sad that dear departed Red Skelton prophetic words (at the end of his essay) came true....
I Am The FlagRed Skelton
Please allow me to present an insightful commentary made years ago by Red Skelton.
" .Getting back to school, I remember a teacher that I had. Now I only went, I went through the seventh grade. I left home when I was 10 years old because I was hungry."
[laughter]
"And ... this is true. I worked in the summer and went to school in the winter. But, I had this one teacher, he was the principal of the Harrison school, in Vincennes, Indiana. To me, this was the greatest teacher, a real sage of ...of my time, anyhow."
"He had such wisdom. We were all reciting the Pledge of Allegiance one day, and he walked over. This little old teacher ... Mr. Lasswell was his name."
"He said: 'I've been listening to you boys and girls recite the Pledge of Allegiance all semester and it seems as though it is becoming monotonous to you. If I may, may I recite it and try to explain to you the meaning of each word?'"
.
I
- - Me; an individual; a committee of one.Pledge
- - Dedicate all of my worldly goods to give without self-pity.Allegiance
- - My love and my devotion. To the Flag
- - Our standard; Old Glory ; a symbol of courage; and wherever she waves there is respect, because your loyalty has given her a dignity that shouts, Freedom is everybody's job.Of The United
- - That means that we have all come together.States
- - Individual communities that have united into forty-eight great states. Forty-eight individual communities with pride and dignity and purpose. All divided by imaginary boundaries, yet united to a common cause, and that is love of country, of America. And to the Republic
- - Republic--a sovereign state in which power is invested in representatives chosen by the people to govern. And government is the people; and it's from the people to the leaders, not from the leaders to the people. For which it stands
One Nation
- - One Nation--meaning, so blessed by God.Indivisible
- - Incapable of being divided.With Liberty
- - Which is Freedom; the right of power for one to live his own life, without fears, threats, or any sort of retaliation. And Justice
- - The principle, or qualities, of dealing fairly with others. For All
- - For All--that means, boys and girls, it's as much your country as it is mine.
And now, boys and girls, let me hear you recite the Pledge of Allegiance:I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic, for which it stands; one nation, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
Since I was a small boy, two states have been added to our country, and two words have been added to the Pledge of Allegiance: Under God. Wouldn't it be a pity if someone said that is a prayer, and that be eliminated from schools, too?

Thanks Red,
"Good Night ... and ... God Bless"
Here's some small good news from Broward County, FL or all places.
On local radio, the Superintendent of Schools said that the Pledge of Allegiance will still be said daily in the school district!
As you no doubt now, Broward County is a big blue zone held territory!
Maybe this sad day will get people angry enough to kick the liberals out in 2002. Hope springs eternal!
The POA stamps are available as single sheet of stamps, 10 per page - not in a booklet.
The linked page above also shows the quantity pricing.
That's the spirit! This is yet another wakeup call to our fellow citizens. We Freepers have been railing about this kind of stuff for a long time. Many of our fellow Americans think we are a bit "obsessive".
This issue may just be the "flash point" that we need to take back our country.
Maybe, this is the beginning of the end of all that Politically Correct Liberal BS.
Hopefully, tonight, I can also upload it to the tee shirt, polo, coffee mug, mousepad, magnet, bumpersticker and license plate pages too!
That would be nice. I thought the beginning of the end was 9/11.
