[Seeking the truth]

My Fellow Freepers....I dont' even know if this is allowable under the posting rules but I am so incensed by this ruling by that appeals court, I decided to post this offer!

If its pulled, so be it!

I offer one FREE Sheet of Pledge of Allegiance 0cents Stamps (10 self-adhesive stamps) to any Freeper who sends me a SASE (Self Addressed Stamped Evelope)!

This is one of my favorite stamps from both a message and an artistic viewpoint. It was designed by my Freeper wife several months ago - way before this 9th Circuit BS.

I just want my fellow Freepers, on this sad day, to have a sheet of these 0cents Stamps showing those beautiful words of the Pledge of Allegiance superimposed on our Flag.

Personally, I agree with the ruling. I think we should delete the "under God" from the Pledge (it was a later addition anyway, and is an endless source of contention) and replace it with "of 50 sovereign states". Let's see 'em try to show how THAT's unconstitutional. It would do a lot more than the current Pledge does to counter the ideal of federally managed socialism that schoolkids are being brainwashed with. The original Pledge (minus the "under God" clause) was a post-Civil War invention, designed to get people to stop thinking of the states as sovereign entities, and to push the idea of one big undifferentiated nation.

A 0cents Stamp Sheet, which contains 10 stamps measures 4" X 8".

Make sure to use a #10 envelope!

Don't want to have to fold these beauties! They are self-adhesive and I can see them lifting off the backing paper if they are folded!

My envelope is on the way. Thank you for this opportunity to stick it to the liberals. By the way, is the Freeper Airforce still in operation. Maybe a big towed sign with the pledge on it would really put it to the idiots out there. Fly it up every beach on the east and west coasts.
Perhaps each state Freeper chapter could start collecting cash to make it possible?

Just go back to the way the pledge was before 1954 when Eisenhower added the "under god" phrase in 1954.

Teri, the best thing is to go here to the Pledge of Allegiance 0cents Stamp page.

The POA stamps are available as single sheet of stamps, 10 per page - not in a booklet.

This linked page above shows the quantity pricing that is available.

Also, I would suggest that you "personalize" the POA stamps, using www.USFlagBalloon.com rather than 0cents.com. Same price. I just think it makes particular sense for you to do that.

BTW, do you have 11/3/02 (a Sunday) available for your balloon (what's its name again?) Believe it or not, the idea of having your balloon down here is not yet totally dead.

The REC of Palm Beach County is having a Veteran's celebration on that date and I'm going to a meeting on 7/9/02 re: getting your balloon there!

Do you have a PowerPoint presentation that I can slip into my laptop when I give them the sales spiel?
