Here's a live thread for the Today Show interview with Ann Coulter.

Will the perky Katie interview Ann? Will Ann make the perky Katie cry? Will the perky Katie chicken out and have Matt do the interview?
Never thought these words would cross my lips, I can't wait for the Today show!!

The problem is that all of Ann's good points were met with Katy denying them and saying "well, we'll get the transcripts". Ann' shot at planned parenthood at the end was good.

Thanks. I guess my NBC affiliate cuts the last hour. Dang it. I'm sure that's why they scheduled Ann during the third hour, because they know that many cities don't even air that hour. The skunks.

Well, the good news is that I can now safey zap Couric et al from my TV.

Ann is a MUCH better read than interview or appearance.

To me, this makes Ann's point for her. This is exactly what Perky Katie does in all her interviews. She "asks" a question (also known as attacking if a conservative guest), then she doesn't let the guest really answer, then she refers to a transcript (as if waiving a piece of paper means something), then they go to break.

Unfortunately for Katie, this is EXACTLY what Ann accuses her of.

Yes, there's no doubt that they scheduled Ann at the tag end of the show to give her as little audience as possible. Unfortunately, I don't feel you missed much. Ann was not in top form. A few good jabs at the end, but Katie was definitely better prepared.

By the way, I was right about this sight overloading the photo server. They got so many hits in the last hour that when they approached 4000+ they froze my web photos for 24 hours...so any photos I posted will appear blank for now.

The important thing is that Today Show's brain dead soccer moms at least now understand that the ACCUSATION is out there that Matt and Katie are NOT "down the middle straight shooters", but in fact are left wing biased.

That these allegations were made by an attractive, articulate young woman makes them all the more eye-opening to soccer moms who never even considered the possibility. Sometimes just letting people know that they MAY be getting duped is the first step towards opening their eyes to something.
