Here's a live thread for the Today Show interview with Ann Coulter.

Will the perky Katie interview Ann? Will Ann make the perky Katie cry? Will the perky Katie chicken out and have Matt do the interview?
Never thought these words would cross my lips, I can't wait for the Today show!!

unfortunatley Katie has done her homework, and must of reviewed many old transcripts that Ann quotes, but Ann is still holding her own. and now my hands are sweating, looking at Ann's legs, whoooo boy

coulter spoke of the today show's jab at Reagan's being an "airhead" during an Edmund Morris interview. Couric vehmently disagreed and offered the transcripts. They are currently discussing Jerry Falwell's comemntary post 9/11.

I'm in the CST, but it's now 9:40 EST and for the past 10 minutes I've been enduring wedding chat.

I have this vague recollection that (at least some stations) "reverse" the two hours of the Today show so that the segment from 7:00 to 8:00 CST is live, and then they go back and do the first hour (EST) as the second hour (CST). Anybody else know about this?

well first katie brought the book "dutch" and how the today show portayed reagan as an airhead which katie denied but I remember the interview with edmund morris and katie implied more than once that he was an airhead. then they went on the relgious right falwells comments after sept 11th and now they are talking about ann's comments in the national review where she talked about converting them to christianity

Well, we will see if the producers and Katie think that they "won".

If they post the video feed, then we will know that they think Katie won.

If they don't post the video feed, then we will know that they thought Katie got her a$$ handed to her...and it would, subsequently, PROVE exactly what Ann is talking about in her book.

the transcripst would be given to her later, katie wanted to move on b/c the arguement kept on going back and forth. So katie at one point said "Hey, I'm the one doing tthe interview here..."

Ann has 'em scared. If they weren't frightened that she was invading on their cozy widdle world view, they would have ignored her.

Never have I heard a more sacrilegious statement than that on FR.

Yeah, it's not very Free Republically Correct but it's true...Katie's legs are SCORTHINGLY HOT! Ann's are, well...Let's just say that legs that are the same diameter in the thigh as in the ankle are unnatrative at best.

There is no one more over-rated (As far as looks go) than Ann Coulter on Free Republic.

I'd guess that you are not watching in the Eastern Time Zone. Are you aware that The Today Show has now gone to a 3-hr. long show? The interview comes on at about 40 minutes into the third hour.
