Good reporting by JJ.
I believe the man heard what he heard. I also believe if there as a plan for terror in Las Vegas, that his prompt action and publicizing of it could well pervent it now.
We'll never know for sure (unless, God forbid, they carry it out), but this man did his duty IMHO and I will not critisize him for it whether what he heard happens or not.
FRegards.

June 20: George Knapp of Channel 3 interviews Hamdan at 11:00 am in front of Treasure IslandDon't believe a word the Arabs said about July 4, that was a ruse.
Look out freepers, they're coming for us at FRIVA Las Vegas. That's right, gunfight in the OK Casino.
Cynthia McKinney tipped 'em off after all the flaming she's been getting here.

The FBI has never called me back either! I had some info to give them back in December, but they really don't care at all. Imagine if I had bin laden camping in my backyard? The foolish FBI is completely in disarray. They should take reports from Arabic-speaking folks even more seriously. I just don't get it.

I saw an interview with Hamdan on Hannity and Colmes last night.
He seemed very credible...

I have a question Why were they speaking in English?

Congratulations to Michael Hamdan, a true, stand up guy.

I don't get it. With the FBI in the proverbial hotseat right now with respect to ignoring pre-911 warnings, why did they treat this so lightly? This story seems all the more credible because Hamdan has nothing to gain by fabricating the overhead message. For that matter, he is drawing attention and possible danger to himself and his family. Sheesh, I guess I don't want to admit to myself that the FBI is really this incompetent.

This is one of the strangest stories yet. The guy seems credible, but what is up with the FBI? Are they running a disinformation campaign or are they all truly incompetant? I pray it's the former, but fear it's the latter.

Gotta check this out...

Bear with me here, and it's only a theory, but maybe the FBI saying how it's not credible could be taken as evidence that it is VERY credible. Why make the terrorists think you know where they're going to strike? You're preventing an attack THERE, but maybe they have a backup site. This could be a golden opportunity to catch them in the act. I'm probably giving the FBI way too much credit. But it could be a form of plausible deniability.
I'd bet that Vegas on July 4 will be crawling with FBI 'tourists' in plainclothes. As will NYC, Boston, Washington D.C., etc.

How do you think this happened technically, if it did? Is it an analog phone? I can't imagine this happening on a digital system. I noticed he uses AT&T Wireless from the image of the phone. If he had a scanner operating I could see this happening like Newt in Florida being taped by those two Dem operatives...but what do you think about a conversation picked up in this manner, via the cellphone?
To: Sir Gawain
It looks like he's trying to buy J.J.'s hat in that first pic....hehehe.
To: Sir Gawain
I'll be there on the 4th July weekend so I'll be sure and post anything worthy I see.
