President Bush made it unmistakably clear yesterday that Palestinian Authority (PA) Chairman Yasser Arafat is the No. 1 obstacle to freedom and a good life for the Palestinians. Speaking from the White House, Mr. Continues.

This wasn't a Presidential statement on Mideast policy as much as a bill of indictment of Arafat and co.

"The demonrats are in total meltdown and their suggestions border on insanity."

AMEN!
Their suggestions border on dangerous, too.

"I can understand the deep anger and anguish of the Israeli people. You've lived too long with fear and funerals...The Palestinian Authority has rejected your offered hand and trafficked with terrorists. You have a right to a normal life. You have a right to security. And I deeply believe that you need a reformed, responsible Palestinian partner to achieve that security."

President Bush has given the Israelis permission to take out the trash. No more gamesmanship or moral equivelency. The Palestinians will behave like civilized people or die.
Excellent analysis Mr. Huang2.

I think many people didn't "get" it because it wasn't what they wanted to hear.

I agree. Guess they just need time to digest it. It will be interesting to watch them find all the reasons Bush is wrong and the acceptance of Arafat and negotiations will work. Looks like England has already become "miffed".

Thank you for the ping and the post. This one's a keeper. JH, what a courageous and spot on analysis. The President deserves better from Americans right now. A decade of Clinton's pitting group against group, dividing our nation for political purposes has left our countrymen holed up in private bunkers with private grudges, selfish and forgetful of our common goals and characteristics. We are now defining our nation, and it is so important that adult voices rise above the shrill voices of the old, misguided socialists and their youthful recruits...that truth triumphs over PC BS.

Yes, and since he didn't say what they said he was going to say......well, according to the liars, "He changed his mind." This happens every time with Bush. After he speaks, the media and Dems look so small and totally misinformed!

Bingo!
