You don't like the taste of your own medicine, that's clear.
To: holdonnow
The President can speak to his own Sec. of State directly without giving a speech to the world. I will agree to disagree with you.
To me, the speech today had to be said in public, to openly set a bar for the Arabs that they can't possibly reach. Free elections, honest commerce, the denial of terrorism--they will never do this. They don't know how. Your anger is misplaced.

Actually my first loyalty is to the United States of America. Is it now? What you mean by loyalty others might call a mean-streak. So you are willing to put your meaness out there on America's front lines, eh?
So proud of the mean-streak loyalty are you, that are the first to use it to knock someone down with. Any one. You got the hammer and you gotta use it.
If America says it's interests are the same as Israel's, or least too similar in interests for you, would you be flying over to Yemen, now? Like Johnny Taleban, eh?
Need to have a proper place to use that meaness you've been cherishing and a-polishing all these years, eh? Gotta *shine*!
Go eat some flyfood, wackjob.

Israelis are already gearing up for a Northern Border War. This is no playing around and Bush, as I said, is not stupid. If you don't want someone to see you coming, blind them or dazzle them.
Iraq. Buh Bye......

I think this post right here is a dead giveaway that this is NOT the REAL MARK LEVIN...
To: OldFriend
And herein underscores the problem. "Bushbashers?" People who question the president on a position are "Bushbashers?" You're better than that, no?

The Palistinian people are not happy with Arafat now, and he may have no choice but to leave.

It's not "we" sir. It's him. And if you were honest and serious, you'd know that this is the same bunch that attacks Rush, Sean, or anyone who dares question their president. We are all Freepers here. I've been a Freeper longer than most. No, Miss Marple, Oldfriend and Texasforever have been ganging up on people who dare to disagree with them, and tonight I chose to respond. And by the emails I'm receiving, I'm not alone.
To: holdonnow
Could you perhaps comment about an idea I have as to why the Bush Doctrine does not apply to the Palestinians (from the Administration's point of view)...
It is my impression that the Bush Doctrine targets terrorist states or states that support terrorism. In a strict sense, the West Bank and Gaza strip are still part of the Israeli state. Maybe I'm being too legalistic but under the Bush Doctrine should we not demand that Israel take care of the problem or risk the involvement of the U.S. military?
To: holdonnow
Sweetie pie, I consider the source of criticism and there is nothing you can say that would bother me a bit.
There are freepers that are admired and respected here and you are not one of them.
To: Howlin
"Gee, Mark, some people who take over the Oval Office actually learn things as they go along. It's calling 'growing.'"
Exactly. This was an important speech and it is unfortunate that a few can't or won't acknowledge that. If they have a legitimate concern over certain aspects of the President's plan then I suggest that perhaps a prayer for his continued growth and wisdom would be more useful than bashing and whining.

You see, you're just another Rush-basher. A phony. A loser.

Hell yes I consider the world court a big deal. Do you want Americans tried in front of it? 69 countries have ratified Kyoto. The tax cut is NOT insignificant. Now on with the list
Recinded 6 Clinton EO's in his first week and placed all others on hold past the deadline for publising in the National register.
Has been the stongest supporter of Isreal in presidential history, that is not my assessment but that of Sharon and Netanyahu,
has tied every bill and every expenditure to clear measures of accountability,
has made the 2nd amendment an individual right to bear arms
Has cut off all forign aid to family planning that includes abortion
Has not pulled troops out of harms way when casualties are taken,
Has made it possible for our troops to fight abroad without their families being on food stamps
Has made a missle defense system an actual program
Has scrapped the anti-ballistic missile treaty
And last but not least
Sent the leftists in this country and the EU into spasms on a daily basis.
For 17 months in office with a real shooting war going on that is not half bad.
To: holdonnow
Tonight I decided to respond in kind, and you melt.Far from melting, I'm solid as a rock and simply pointing out the obvious.
You, OTOH, have sunk to a new depth. Talk about a meltdown !!!
To: Darlin'
Actually, the reason that are here is because it WAS an extremely important speech.
They cannot handle it.
