The comment about radio and television wasn't made until after you unleashed your attack on Dane, who has been a trooper throughout the last two years. You should go back and read the posts yourself.
Also, may I add, you brough extraneous issues into this debate, such as the Farm Bill. When I pointed out that Reagan also signed a farm bill, which is the truth, you called it a cheap shot.
Personally, I think you need to get out of the Beltway for a bit and see what the simple folk are doing. You might have a different take on things.

I already corrected the typo, but thanks anyway. Yes, I'm well aware of your position, as you've restated here. Time will tell.
To: holdonnow
So what must Bush do to get back in your good graces?

Ok, could you answer my #562 then? I understand it might have been easy to miss it.

Well, let's see. What should we do? The great thing about Free Republic and these threads is that anybody can go back and reconstruct the arguments. Others can read the posts and draw their own conclusions. I found you offensive and still do. I also find you intellectually dishonest. Maybe that's just your way. I really don't know. I expect this from the libs and the Clintonoids, but not a fellow Freeper. But you keep watching and listening, as you obviously do ...

This is about the third stupid statement this guy has madeI thought we were supposed to be respectful here - no personal attacks and such. Or, is that only for the mere peons?

Hey, if you can think of a way to make money from this, I say GO FOR IT!! LOL!
You know, perhaps if my name were a little more confusing, like "MsMpl1948" or "Grdnrsnc1980" perhaps I wouldn't be as much a lightning rod. What do you think? Should I change my name? Then I could be the stealth poster. Ha!
To: Dane
JMO, but you, Rush, and Hannity are spitting mad because you seem to be left out of the loop and aren't being worshiped by those in the administration. I SERIOUSLY doubt that. And it doesn't help your position at all.
Maybe now would be a good time to take a break and get some dinner?
I'll butt back out now.
To: Jim Scott
I just have two words for your post
THANK YOU !!!

You really are a small-mind creep. Levin is right on the money when he calls Bush on his disgraceful performance this afternoon. Israel is our ally and to have equated its position with that of the murdering palestinians is an insult to the American presidents and other patriots over the past half-century (like Reagan, Mark's point) who have recognized our special relationship with the one democracy in the mid-east.
You Bush apologists are as intellectually bankrupt as your Clinton counterparts.
To: holdonnow
A few more other questions from the plebicide ...If Bush's policy is so bad toward Israel, why do they seem like they are happy Bush is in office ? Also if the Palestinians are so bad (and I do not doubt they are) Why doesnt Israel take Arafat out and half or all of his so called country?

By the way, calling names doesn't help your position.

All right, it was a diplomatic way of saying Arafat dictator must go, though it was toned in a shoping like manner. As for the Palestinian state, well, I just do not like the definition Palestinian.

Bush said in his speech, "The Bible says, 'I have set before you life and death; therefore, choose life.'" I think the fact that he left off the end "that you may live," and omittted the context: it comes as part of the "blessings and curses" in Deuteronomy," indicates that he wants it to be one message to people who know the Bible (Jews and Christians) and a different message to people who couldn't care less about it (Muslims). I think you're right. What makes me laugh with scorn are all of the latest news reports on how Bush is supporting a Palestinian state without mentioning the conditions. The propaganda is THICK now.
Bush sent out a VERY clear warning to people that are willing to take the time and think about what he just said.
Babelfish(from Bush's speech): Islamic world, clean up or die.

Well, I am probably not that bright, but I do think I am as informed as holdonnow.
To: woofie
Bush doesn't have to get back into my good graces. I agree with him on some issues and disagree with him on others. He's the best we have. And he's been a great war president.
To: holdonnow
Miss Marple "intellectually dishonest"? You, sir, have gone too far. You are WRONG. I agree with Amelia in that I look forward to your TV appearances and your holding your own against a phalanx of liberal chatterers. BUT your remarks tonight to those here who do not agree with you fall short of honest debate.
