His administration has restrained Israel and treated the PA and that country as moral equivalents. They are not. The PA is Israel's enemy and is bent on its destruction. By proposing a palestinian state in three years, Bush rewarded the terrorists behind and around Arafat.

Seems to me that Israel is doing what they want to do... Israel wants there to be a Palestinian state...

Rush's opinion of Bush's Israeli policy will not change. The fact that Bush even mentioned the idea of a palestinian state in the wake of the bloody attacks of last week does nothing but send the terrorists the message that if they push hard enough, inflict enough terror and play the victim well enough then they will be rewarded.

If I am wrong, and Rush does change his tune, then I'll show up here tomorrow night and admit as much.

It's not much of a choice for me, since most of the posts here tonight haven't accomplished anything in terms of convincing me about anything. They have been too busy trashing a good man, Mark Levin.

Here is that "good man's" first post on this thread. he came spoiling for a fight and he got more than he could handle.

When did Bush find this "vision?" He never mentioned it during his campaign. In fact, he didn't mention it until October of 2001 -- after 9/11. I have a vision of dancing sugar plums, or whatever, but that doesn't make a serious position. Another terrorist state is not a vision, it's a terrible mistake.

Get used to it EV you and your friends do not have a free pass any longer.

Many high profile conservatives have noted with regret the deterioration of FR as a place for learned discussion about conservatism. They have seen how the "cheerleaders" bully and berate those who dare question the actions of President Bush as they relate to conservative principles.

The behavior of many FReepers on this thread was nasty, but-oh-so typical of what passes for discourse on FR these days. You guys started in on "holdonnow" on this thread right from the start with snide condescension and went right into personal attacks. He started his comments on the substance of the matter and he was immediately talked down to like I've seen done so many times to others here. Yet you all act shocked when he returns your insults in kind and attempt to denigrate him for doing so.

This thread is an embarrassment. You may be high-fiving yourselves now for thinking you ran him off, but noone in the GOP--not even Karl Rove--will respect you in the morning for your behavior tonight.

Aw c'mon Mom...granted he made a great choice for VP, but he has made some bad choices along the way. That's reality.

Statements like that just make you look like a cheerleader, instead of a credible commentator on the issues of the day.

You don't have to sign up at all; and for me, being called a Bush-Bot is no longer a smear; I remember how the liberals called us "Clinton haters" when we tried to bring his many foibles to their attention.

Well, we were right and they were wrong. I wore the name "Clinton hater" with pride, a sure sign of my intelligence and a badge of honor.

There are people who are intent on dividing this party and this nation with the intent of destroying this country and giving the power to influence this country for years to come back to the liberals JUST BECAUSE THEIR GUY DIDN"T GET ELECTED.

In my opinion, they are willing to turn this country over the liberals just so they can say, "See, I told you he wasn't a 'real' conservative, he wasn't a 'true' conservative." They would rather be right than suport him.

Why don't you go check out the threads where Freepers trashed Jim Robinson over the weekend. He is not exactly a Bushbot but he understands the importance of Taking Back the Senate and Keeping the House which you and others obviously don't with some of the continual trashing of this President on every issue along with his supporters.

You all don't like it since we have decided to fight back and not take the trashing anymore. Well we have a right to our opinions -- sounds like since our opinions don't mirror yours this site is not any good!
