What the heck is the Council of Khalistan and why am I getting these e-mails?

25,000 RAW Agents Outside India

According to an intelligence report, there are 25,000 RAW agents outside India. They have infiltrated into our Gurdwaras and our organizations to sabotage our struggle for freedom. Please be careful. Look around you and identify these agents. Dr. Amarjit Singh has opened the Khalistan Affairs Center in Washington, DC to create confusion, deplete the resources of the Sikh Nation, and to divert the attention of the Sikh Nation from the issue of Khalistan. Last year, Jasvinder Singh Jandi, Bhajan Singh Bhinder, Jasvir Singh, and Gurtej Singh of the Sikh Youth of America told me that he was planted by the Indian government. He has not even told anyone where he is from in India or who his parents are. How can Sikhs tolerate a leader like him whose credentials are so questionable? When will Sikh Youth of America and the Sikh Nation get answers to these questions from him?

Didar Bains Grants Siropa to Indian Government Officials

On June 13 at the Yuba City Gurdwara, Didar Bains gave siropas to four officials of the Indian government: Vinod Kumar, Consulate General of India, Lahori Ram President of Congress Party in the U.S.A, Ashok Bhatt Commissioner P.U.C., and Vivek Bhatt Advisor, FICCI, India. He praised these officials for their services to the Sikhs. Didar Bains works for the Indian government. He connived with the Indian government for the 1984 attack on the Golden Temple, according to a letter printed in the book Chakravyuh: Web of Indian Secularism by Gurtej Singh. In the words of former Akal Takht Jathedar Professor Darshan Singh: "If a Sikh is not a Khalistani, he is not a Sikh."

Pakistani Missile Tests Avert War

In May, the Pakistanis tested new Gauri, Shaheen, and other missiles. These missiles are a shield that deters India from starting a war in pursuit of its goal of hegemony over all of South Asia. An Indian Cabinet member was quoted last year as saying that Pakistan should be incorporated into India and there is a strong "Akand Bharat" movement which enjoys the support of the ruling BJP.

India-Pakistan War Could Break Out Any Time

The war between India and Pakistan over the Kashmir issue seems to have been deferred temporarily. We are glad that there is no war for now, but this issue will not go away. The people of Kashmir and all the peoples of South Asia must have self-determination.

Punjab Is a Border State

Sikhs Should Not Fight for India

As you know, Punjab is right on the India-Pakistan border. In the event of a war, Punjab, Khalistan will be one of the places that will suffer the most. Punjab, Khalistan can break away at any opportune moment. When war between India and Pakistan breaks out, that will be the perfect time to break away. Sikh soldiers and officers should not fight for India, but should step up the struggle to liberate Khalistan. Begin a Shantmai Morcha now to prepare for this opportunity.

Khalistan Martyrs Day Demonstration Very Successful

I would like to thank the Sikhs who showed up for our June 1 demonstration here in Washington to commemorate Khalistan Martyrs Day, the anniversary of the Indian government?s military attack and massacre of Sikhs at the Golden Temple. This event was very successful. I would also like to thank Representative Dan Burton (R-Ind.) for his statement in the Congressional Record in memory of that attack..

Will to Free Khalistan Alive and Well

There are 3 million Sikhs outside India. They are working day in and day out to free Khalistan. The events in Washington, D.C., New York, London, and other cities commemorating the attack on the Golden Temple is evidence of this.

Gilman Redistricted, Likely to Lose: Burton May Be Chairman

Congressman Ben Gilman, chairman of the South Asia subcommittee and the only Republican in the Indian Caucus, has been redistricted and is likely to lose a primary to Rep. Sue Kelly. As a result, Dan Burton may become chairman of the subcommittee. Please support him.

India on U. S. Government Watch List of Religious Offenders

The U.S. government placed India on its watch list of countries that are major violators of religious freedom. This is official confirmation from the U.S. government that there is no religious freedom in India. Unfortunately, it does not bring any sanctions against India at this time, but it opens the door to sanctions later.

India Among Worst Offenders in Trafficking in People Report

The U.S. State Department issued its annul report in trafficking in persons, and one of the top offenders was India. This belies India?s claim to be a secular democracy.

K.P.S. Gill Invited to U.S.

Advisor to Gujarat Government

Please read our letter condemning the American Foreign Policy Council?s invitation to K.P.S. Gill to speak in Washington, D.C. Gill has also been appointed as a new advisor to the government of Gujarat. He is a murderer who supervised the murders of over a quarter of a million Sikhs. When he came to America with the Indian Olympic delegation in 1996, he had to travel on a separate, secured train because no airline would give him a ticket to Atlanta. He should not be advising any government and he should not be invited to the United States or any other country.

On May 8, Representative Edolphus Towns (D-NY) denounced the Indian government in the Congressional Record for using POTO to abuse people. He cited the case of a Muslim who was ordered released on bail, but the police filed conflicting reports in order to continue holding him under POTO. Please read his statement.

Congressman Pitts Denounces Atrocities by Hindu Militants

Congressman Joseph Pitts (R-Pa.) issued a statement in the June 18 Congressional Record condemning the atrocities in Gujarat, carried out by militant Hindu nationalists. The newspapers reported that the government connived in planning the attacks and the police stood aside while the atrocities continued. One policeman was quoted as saying the police were ordered not to get involved.

S. Gurtej Singh from Punjab, Khalistan Exposes Indian Tyranny at Seminar

At a seminar in New York in May, S. Gurtej Singh IAS, Professor of Sikhism and author of Chakravyuh: Web of Indian Secularism, gave historical facts about the sovereign, independent Sikh Nation and how the Hindu majority wants to assimilate the Sikh religion. He exposed the betrayal and corruption of the Akali leadership. It was an excellent presentation.

This Office Must Continue

Appeal for Funds

This office needs your financial support immediately to pay the bills. I recently sent an SOS for funds. I thank those who have already sent donations. But the overwhelming majority still have not. So far, only 2 percent have responded. I request that every Sikh please send in a donation as soon as possible. Ask your friends and neighbors. Not everyone is on my mailing list. Your support is essential to preserve our interests in the U.S. and internationally.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * *

Request to Gurdwaras to Donate Regularly to This Office

Gurdwara money belongs to the Khalsa Panth and it should be spent to promote the Sikh religion. We must have an office in DC. Every Gurdwara must contribute whatever they can afford to this office.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * *

Finances Are Most Important to Maintain This Office

Every Gurdwara should take this responsibility more seriously. Gurdwara committees should be persuaded to send this office a contribution every month. I appreciate the five Gurdwaras that are doing this regularly and I encourage the 85 or so Gurdwaras in the U.S. to do the same. Please start now. Even a contribution of $200 or $300 every month would be a big help.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * *

Request to Gurdwaras to Send Representatives to Work in This Office

To learn how to continue our struggle for independence and to protect our interests in this country, every Gurdwara should send one or two representatives to work in this office for a week or two so they can gain practical experience in how the business is conducted in this office. That way there will be many well-trained Sikhs who can run this office.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * *

Qualifications Required to Run This Office Get Experience Now

Next year I will be 65. Some other Sikhs should be prepared to take over the responsibility of Sikh leadership from me. I would like to train the new leadership who is to replace me. The person must be a Kesadhari Sikh, a committed Khalistani, a U.S. citizen, honest, sincere, well qualified, a good orator, a good debater, and beyond reproach. The most important quality of the person is his or her ability to raise money. Running this office is a difficult job.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * *

Elections in Gurdwaras

The elections in Gurdwaras must be fair and honest. Group disputes have even wound up in court. Some groups, to maintain control, enroll non-Sikhs, Hindus, and others as members. This is shameful and unethical. I appeal to these individuals not to lower their morality. Only Kesadhari Gursikhs should be committee members. These members have the obligation to behave like Gursikhs and set example by doing Sewa.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * *

"Dharam Nalon Thara Piara"

The Sikh Nation must get out of this mentality. We must work to preserve the interests of the Sikh Nation, not groups.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * *

Domestic Violence

There should not be domestic violence in any Sikh household. It has a bad impact on children, it is against the law, and it downgrades the image of Sikhs among our neighbors and fellow Americans. It degrades Sikh moral values.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * *

Dowry System Must Be Stopped

Although Guru gave equality to females, still the dowry system is prevalent. This must be stopped. Do not give or receive a dowry. It is immoral.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * *

Bringing Brides from Punjab

Too many Sikh men are bringing young brides from Punjab, then mistreating them. This must be stopped.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * *

Female Infanticide and Feticide Must Be Stopped

Jassar Singh Ramgharia, a Sikh leader, killed his daughter in the 18th century. He was expelled from the Sikh religion. After he fought along with the Sikhs against the rulers of Lahore he requested readmission to the Panth, and it was granted because of his repentance and his defense of the Sikh Nation.

Dr. Gurmit Singh Aulakh

President

I don't know how you got on their mailing list, but the Council of Khalistan is a lobbying group for a Sikh separatist movement in a province in India which adjoins Pakistan.

They are extremely anti-Indian and are very vocal. I have no idea how large the group is, but my guess is that it is a fringe group and doesn't represent the majority of Sikhs or the majority of people who live in that province.

My suggestion is to use your email tools and block all email coming from that particular domain.

A passage from your first mysterious E-Mail:

Dr. Amarjit Singh has opened the Khalistan Affairs Center in Washington, DC to create confusion

Obviously, the mysterious Dr. Singh is successfully confusing you. Crack members of the FReep Deprogramming Unit are on the way.

Just a little primer on Khalistan. A large community of Sikhs exists in British Columbia. I believe it was about fifteen years ago, that two Air India aircraft out of Vancouver to Delhi, didnt make it.

One aircraft went down over the Irish Sea- 323 innocent souls died. They were described as "Indo-Canadians". At Tokio's Narita airport, the other Air India- two hours apart ,landed to de-plane about sixty passengers. An explosion occurred. It was , by a miracle, forty five minutes early. Two Japanese baggage handlers were killed, all through passengers had also de-planed to stretch their legs. Forensics showed a bomb was detonated, traced to a radio shop in BC.

The Canadian authorities have this score to date: Bomb maker served 12 years, re-arrested now, I believe on additional charges. Two others, one a millionaire, one, a janitor, under arrest and indicted. Took over 12 years or more.

The other score is this: Government of India, arrested a fugitive from RCMP investigation in BC in India. He was somehow was killed while in Indian custody. Touch wood, it has been all quiet in this regard since in Canada. Do Right may have been slow but somehow mighty sure- we fervently hope. Oh, this was to tell the Government of India, someone wishes a separate state. They didnt get the message.

I switched from Netscape several years ago, and I don't even remember if it has a blocking feature. Blocking unwanted spam is becoming a huge priority for most internet users.

Maybe somebody here can tell you how to do it with your current software. These folks should have some way to unsubscribe from their mailing list, though. They aren't like the spam advertisers who use the unsubscribe feature to validate your email address so that they can sell it to others.

Have you tried to contact them?
