They should definitely be on the lookout for terrorists flying B-52s loaded with several hundred bombs, as well as terrorists who have figured out how to cause 8.0 earthquakes.

Didn't the California liberals refuse to pay Federal taxes this year because they didn't support the war on terror? Hmmmm. Decisions, decisions.

Two scuba-gear clad Middle-Eastern men are planning to steal a cropduster, parachute into a lake, shoot the dam on the way down with shoulder-fired Stinger missiles, land near their C-4 laden kayak. If they missed the dam with the missiles, they're going to scuba dive to the dam with the explosives. For good measure, their three Middle-Eastern jihad brothers will be driving over the dam with a stolen tanker truck loaded with liquid propane, pipe bombs in hand and ready to blow.
What did I leave out? Stolen ambulances?

Big Dalton, Big Tujunga, Cogswell, Morris, Pacoima, Puddingstone, San Dimas, San Gabriel and Santa Anita dams will be studied at the request of county officials. Santa Fe Dam in Irwindale will not be in the study because it is run by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Pellman said. With the exception of Big Tujunga and Pacoima, all of the sites are in the East San Gabriel Valley, most in the foothills above Monrovia, Azusa and Glendora.
Right clever of those left coasties to provide the terrorists with a handy list of targets -- complete with their locations... Here in TX we call that "being eat up with the 'dumba$$'"!

What did I leave out? Stolen ambulances?Yes, that and the bag of some powder they were dumping into the water somewhere during that sequence.
I think it was good enough to earn the $42,000, though.

Well, if they used Tesla's "Earthquake Machine," maybe they could actually bring the thing down that way.

Very amusing. However, since I live eight miles directly downstream from Hemet's Diamond Valley Reservoir, which holds far more water than all the dams in southern California combined, I'm sure hoping they don't figure it out!

TXnMA (no longer!!!) I take it you finally made it back? Feels good, doesn't it? I don't know how you lived through it for twenty years. I could barely survive two! Welcome home!

Now if they would just go up to Northern California, and knock down the Oroville Dam, they could flush Sacramento and Governor Davis right into the San Francisco Bay.

You mean to tell me this hasn't been done already?!! What the hell is wrong with these people? Don't they read the papers?

Should I call Nicole and tell her that her list is rather incomplete!
It is a local call for me!

Should not be to hard to do. Oroville Dam is a earthen dam I beleive

Those were only the Dams in LA County.

I know this is not politically correct, but might I dare suggest that we actually ask who the he$$ is coming into this country? Some non-pc border measures (lead peanuts instead of water fountains, etc.)
I loved the South Korean approach (79 - 80, TDY 81 - 82, several times after that) - when a boat approached the shoreline - gosh, gee - they shot first!
Stationed at Kunsan AB - Yellow Sea, spitting distance from the runways. The ROK did not f**k around. Several F-4's (world famous Fighter-Bomber, mostly bomber) left fully loaded and came back empty. Funny thing was that the flying time to the range did not match. Gee, wonder where they dropped the ordinance?
The US could stand to learn a lesson or two.
