Staying up waiting for my son to come home, fell asleep on the coach and woke up to your post. Sorry to hear about the melanoma and your husbands job. Sounds like you are pretty smart so I have no doubt that you will do well in your bar. Just in case, I will keep you in my prayers.

Had the same thrill from a friend who just never bothered to become a citizen but was always voicing opinions. Finally I talked her into becoming a citizen and personally registered her to vote, made a copy of the registration and gave her a special flag that was decorated with ribbons. Did a special celebration on the day she cast her first vote. Would be fun to have a limo pick you up and ride to the polls with champagne and then go to lunch or whatever for the continued celebration. It's thrilling! Good luck.

The man has got great legs. And man, this looks like a walk in the park for him. He is, indeed, in great shape!Oh man! I feel so much better now that someone's mentioned the man's great legs! We Bush Babes aren't old geysers after all! LOL!

The pollsters probably got tired of having to report his high poll numbers so they're trying to find some good numbers regarding D's...huuuummmm...wonder where they are?

YOU said IT!!!! and VERY WELL......I agree with you - I believe President Bush is doing the best he can with what he has (split Congress, War, idiots in the press, etc.) I, too, remember 1996.....I wrote a 2-page, single spaced letter to friends and family trying to warn them NOT to vote for Clinton - I am sure I was considered "weird" at the time......but, obviously, I've been vindicated. (And, I've NEVER once said "I told you so.") BUT, I DO believe we HAVE to have the CONGRESS controlled for the President's party before he/we can really do ANYTHING - and we get nowhere beating up our own......I don't agree with everything the President has done, but, like you, I will NOT disagree in public. Just what the media needs is people "unhappy" with their President - especially a Republican one....NOT me, nope.....no way.....the media gives me the incentive to keep my mouth closed, and to only speak positive things in "public."
To: Brad's Gramma
Evening, Gramma....Ahem....you are NOT a geezer....you're a geezerette (as my husband calls women of a certain age.)
To: goodnesswins
Ooops. Geezerette indeed. :-)

Well said, Howlin!!!!!!!!!!
We rented "Black Hawk Down" tonight - aka Clinton's finest hour.
I'm so upset right now...I ...
Thank God we have a grown up, someone we can trust and respect living in the people's house, and not renting out the rooms, for a change!
God Bless You George Bush, and thank you for taking the job. The things you must know...and have to deal with on a daily basis... May God guide you.
Know that we're behind you all the way, Sir!
LET'S ROLL!!!!!
