This is a further update of the Charlie Brown Airport (Fulton County Municipal) story as reported by WSB-TV and quoted earlier. One other point to make -- Charlie Brown Airport is about a half-mile north of I-20 at the Fulton Industrial Blvd. (GA 70) exit. That exit is one exit outside the Atlanta Perimeter on Atlanta's west side. So it is possible that those involved could have hit the highways and moved elsewhere in the southeast pretty quickly after that point.
There is no indication as to which province in Canada the tags were from, although Ontario and Quebec are most the prevalent Canadian tags found here.
Since there was a separate story, I thought a separate thread was warranted.

Not to get off on a tangent, but I believe our border with Canada is a far bigger threat than our border with Mexico.

I say round up all white males between 30 and 40, accuse them of an unusual interest in aviation, receiving training in fleeing the scene of a non-crime, strip them of their citizenship, and hold them until this undefined, undeclared war is over.

The other was described as simply being about 30 years old. LOL! The other guy probably had a "Mediterranean" complexion and was wearing a long white robe with a turban on top!
But that would be unfairly profiling!

Why would anyone want to do that?

And was recorded singing "Alli-alli-alli-alli-allah akbar. Ay yiyiyiyiyiyiyiyiyiyiyi!!!!!" Arabic terrorists have not been suspected.

I had a guy in my project group at school that was an aviation buff about 15 years ago. He liked to park off the West end of Mather AFB and take pictures of B52's. One night without warning the FBI raided his parents home. They took his computer, the carburator for his ford pinto, the family TV, his camara and pictures, and our class project. Another dangerous white male put out of action. We used to refer to him as comrade, after that.

Do what? Take pics of airplanes, or shred the Constitution in some knee-jerk reaction to gov't incompetance?
As for the first, there are those out there who love airplanes. Some take pictures and treat photographing airplanes the same way they treat photographing nature scenes or wild animals. Perhaps Billy Joe and Bubba were trespassing, or didn't want to hassle with employees and beat feet.
As for trashing the Constitution...
I have no idea why anyone would want to do that, but if you poke around FReeprland, you will find PLENTY that do.

The Charlie Brown Airport? That wouldn't be where that dog is flying all those sorties against the Red Baron, would it?

Isn't it south of I-20? I seem to remember always getting on the belt heading southwest when I would drive there from Augusta.
