President Bush headed to Florida today to attend a fundraiser for his brother, Gov. Jeb Bush. While in Florida, Bush visited Marks Street Senior Center in Orlando, and spoke once again about physical fitness and addressed the homicide bombings in Israel. The President also attended a senior fitness class while at the Marks Street Center. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

Thanks--I've missed you, too! I love the Choose Life "LuvBabies" license plate.
Nope, no grandbaby yet; my daughter's due on July 25. Only one more month of waiting! Hope your move went well; was praying for you and your family....

Too bad that terrific pictures like the first and second in post #5 don't seem to make it into the newspapers. Even the Washington Times seems to choose pictures that make President Bush appear uncertain, timid or goofy. Thanks, Rintense, for reminding us of what is actually available.

Glad to see you on the Dose. Don't think we've "met". Do you post much? Yes, the Dose keeps us sane and rintense rules!

The economy is again going to be the key in the fall elections, sorry to say. I think one reason for the market doldrums is the Clinton "plumbers" are now working in reverse- shorting stocks and selling them off - just the opposite of what was going on during the "bubble".
I keep waiting for President Bush to bring in some financial gurus (sorry but the Treasury Secretary - decent as he is - is not who we need right now).
We need to hope and pray for economic good sense to somehow take hold - FAST. The economic downturn is hurting many people around here - lots of layoffs. These people will not be voting Republican this fall unless there is some sign that the President has seen the "hurt" out there and is taking dramatic action to counter it. This is the only criticism I have - and I am pinging DrDeb because she knows people on the "inside" - maybe others do. We need to pray for an economic "focus" to take hold even in the midst of our war. We must be doing the economy helping things.....rolling back regulations, cutting taxes, not attacking every business out there with DOJ lawsuits, etc. This is not a gripe - but a very real concern because as evil as Carville is - and despite 911 - it is still true that the economic hardships affect people's votes bigtime.
