I remember somebody once, in print somewhere, referred to Ithaca as "the Berkley of the East."

Personally, I like to think of Berkley as "the Ithaca of the West." ;-)

I have Chapel Hill as a neighbor, but even that liberal wacko town can't touch Ithaca.

I voted for Bush, am quite conservative, but as it's been said, if you can't say "F*$* the government" than you're not really free. So, yes it is protected unless it's a direct threat to him. Don't get so worked up over libs and their stupid, apples to oranges arguments.

I don't dispute that the content is protected. I was commenting on the fact that this person chose to disseminate there constitutionally protected message by vandalizing both government and private property.

Vive...

Nothing personal, but no one other than graduates of Cornell ever have much good to say about the U. Their elitism was insufferable and at times it became necessary to be very blunt with them, reminding them that we were not interested in or impressed by the fact that they were students or faculty at Cornell and that other institution.

Does good come out of those places?? To be sure, yes. There is a great tendency for the people to believe that only they know what is good for Ithaca and the area. For this they are scorned.

Are you supposed to call the Ithaca police to report evidence about the graffitti, or evidence that Bush is a Nazi?

ROTFLMAO!   Good One!

I don't endorse vandalism, of "public" or private property, but nonetheless, I can't resist a quote:

"To announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but morally treasonable to the American public." -- Theodore Roosevelt

Berkeley, Ithaca, Ann Arbor and other centers like them are a stealth pox on the nation.

I was doing some research on the "historians" that came out in support of Clinton during the impeachment wars. Crowds of them, though they were teaching at other colleges, had graduated from Berkeley. I know I feel better that Berkeley commies are teaching our fresh-faced youth American history, don't you? ;-)

I didn't check on graduates from the City of Evil, but I'm sure they've infested their own branches of endeavour at other institutions.

BTW - BLL has been entertaining us with Ithaca stories for so long that some of the older Freepers use the line as a sign/countersign.

challenge: "Ithaca!"

answer: "Is the City of Evil."

"The Ithaca Police Department is investigating these incidents. Anyone with information should call them at 272-9973. "
...And they will be asked to come down to headquarters to help in inquiries.
Hmmm... Is this really a sinister Liberal "sting operation"?

Ithaca Guardia: "So, you don't approve of criticism of the running dog lackey capitalist president?"

Tune in next week when Bullwinkle tells Mayor Boris Gudonov: "Why, I never matriculated in my life- how dare you?!
I'll have you know I'm a graduate of Ithaca U!"

I guess according to these guys we shouldn't have retaliated for 9/11. I hate them almost as much as I hate the terrorists. At least these guys should know better.

As noted above, "these guys" are so liberal, they write editorials that argue "Bin Laden is Human too".

Ithaca is the City of Evil.
