You're not alone. The Secretary of State in Ohio is a conservative from Cincinnati named Ken Blackwell. Following the end of Gov. Taft's almost certain next term Ken will likely be the Republican nominee to replace him.

Or, perhaps they will do what was done during the Bush/Gore standoff at the Supreme Court: The Rev. Jesse will take funds that he extorted from corporations, hire several dozen buses and bring people in from up and down the East Coast corridor to "protest," providing them with free beer and barbeque as bait. Disgusting. I plan to be in another time zone when that thing happens. Massive panhandling by professional losers.

Ok, but first we have to deduct any and all welfare payments made over the years, and then, if the outcome is NEGATIVE, you owe the US government (read 'the REST of the TAXPAYERS'), instead of the other way around.....

Actually it's closer to 65%, if not 60%. There are a lot (well, more than people think) of Hispanics here. And a large portion of the black 30-40 years olds have left for PG.

Considering that black (was I supposed to capitalize that?) participation in elections is very low in certain sections, large turnout is not to be expected. This whole statehod/reparations thing is media balderdash.

I went to the Project 21 (which is mentioned in the article) website and I swear it was like I was fish that had been on land and dived into a nice CLEAR pool of water. I think I've found my home! We witnessed a hilarious run-in between our pastor's wife and a friend of ours. Our pastor and his wife are black, and he is the salt of the earth, but she's kinda liberal. We have a white friend who was born and raised in South Africa. She told the minister's wife (born here in the US) that only people who were actually from Africa could rightfully call themselves "African-American". The pastor's wife was apoplectic! It was a funny thing to watch. Liberals can't handle the truth.
