It would be nice...but it ain't going to happen unless the real handlers (who are not the PA. Once again, folks, the PA are "handle-ees") get a real tight leash on their people, and really REALLY fast.
I've been expecting something like this...DREADING it...for several months now. Thus all the weird posts I have made aobut "the real handlers". They know who they are.They don't want peace...we know that...but SOME of them aspire to become "statesmen"....the realization of ambition can be a really good incentive....weirdly...those who were expected to bite aren't.
It's gonna get worse unless the imams who have aspirations to statesmenship GET A HANDLE ON IT. Like NOW.
Well, let's see. This morning FoxNews was reporting that GW Bush was planning a speech in which he would propose an "interim" Palestinian state. This is the day after the bus bombing that killed several high school age students. The speech may be delayed, but there was no mention of GWB changing his mind.
The Bush Doctrine is correct. It's just too bad that GW Bush doesn't follow it in regards to the "Palestinians".
Then Israel would win.
But Israel exists, in the mind of many Israelis, because the UN gave it a "right to exist". They desperately want to believe this nice fiction, and they want to force their enemies to give lip service to it.
Of course, the only "right to exist" that Israel has (on this earth) grows out of the barrel of an Uzi. In this, Israel is no different from any other nation-our right to Wyoming is solid because of Nelson Miles' smallpox-infected blankets, the Afrikaners had the right to Natal through apartheid and they gave it up, the Russians have the right to Kaliningrad because they killed or expelled all the Germans, and so on.
Israel has to make up its mind whether they are willing to do what is necessary to secure their "right to exist".
So far, I'd say they are not.
Don't leave out the biggest terrorist supporter on Earth: the UN. PLEASE don't forget to add the UN.
It's the UN's fault that Israel has been losing the 'propaganda war'.
In fact, UN 'resolutions' are the single most cited reason (by terrorists) for terrorist attacks.
