Your daughter has Crohn's too, huh? So does my 25 year old. She was diagnosed with it when she was about 19. I still don't know where she got it from exactly. But I just found out that one of my cousins has a daughter that has it too. My kid nearly died of it about 6 years ago; before we even knew she had it. She got seriously ill twice that year. Since then, she had a few mild spells of it come on. I do know how worrisome that is. I sure hope they can find something that will work for your daughter. I know different doctors will try different treatments.

Now, my daughters doctor has her on an anti-rejection drug called: Purinethal (sp?). It's kept her very well for about 2-3 years now. But the doctor still keeps Prednisone in his (arsenal) just in case. She also takes a low dose of an antibiotic. It's got a long name, but it's called Flagyl for short. So far, it's kept her out of the hospital.

And thank you for all your hard work with the Freepathon! Without people like you we would not even be here.
God bless.

The "slip comment" was tongue in cheek. The media tries to make a big issue of any possible squabbling in the Bush administration. I do believe that a lot of the media is salivating for a juicy gossipy story.

If you look up under whitehouse.gov, however, the mention there of the home stuff does mention minority families and so as many in the thread were saying, the WH needs to straighten this out as it appears it is misinformation b/c if you read further and get the actual substance of this program it is intended for low income families.

Have a nice day.

Question: I am still learning how to do copy/paste of these pics and my question is after I copy or save the pic, how do I get it to move and gyrate the way it does when I try to use it?

Gee. So I guess I shouldn't ask if you think Padilla's rights are being violated by being held in prison and that he shouldn't be out on bail :)

you might be saving theb GIF as a JPG and that would cause the GIF not to work.

The easiest way to copy them is in HTML Code, simply right clik on the image then hit "properties" and copy the location (URL) and the use < img src=" paste url here" >

I was afraid you were going to ask that. I have my list at our home in town. I will be there probably tomorrow so I will let you know ASAP. Hopefully, tomorrow night.

It's a beautiful, glorious morning here in the West. Bright sunshine and blue sky for as far as the eye can see. We had several thundershowers yesterday so it is especially bright! The fields look so lush and clean after a rain.

hehehe they must be liberal. My family also like me had always voted democrat unitl clinton. I was the first to switch and then my oldest sister who married a conservative republican, then she slowly but surely started listening to the right views.

Last but not least the middle sister who is a teacher in middle school for over 25 yrs joined me at the Govenors Mansion in Austin in support of GW during the election fiasco and got interviewed by our local news and let the world know (including her inlaws) she was a registered demo supporting GW thanks to the clinton years and that she was switching parties.

oh yea and my dad, well he is 82 and had never voted republican until this last Presidential election. He says from now on he is listening and scrutinizing these people more closely finally! that's my family, and i must admit it is much more pleasent now that we are all on the same side. heheh

What is the cheese hole?

It is what some of us call the General Interest category. We Ladies of the Guild joke about our being in the Cheese Hole (General Interest) rather than the New/Activism category.

Would you be kind enough to explain this? What is the 'Cheese Hole'? Where is his explanation?

The 'Cheese Hole' is what some of us call the General Interest category. After I had sent the webmaster an e-mail asking about the new post reply set up, I saw a thread in the General Interest area from Jim Robinson about the new post reply set up! So I realized this was something new so I just went with it and chose NOT to be anonymous.

Thank you for your response. I had not heard that term and, being very nosy, I wanted to learn more about it.

The situation with your dad brings up what many have realized regarding FDR's influence on America. Many became diehard dems during his presidency, and would vote dem w/o checking credentials afterwards, out of faith in and gratitude toward The Old Man who helped them dig out of the depression and led most of the way to win the war. The corrupt dems of many decades have cashed in on this love of FDR, but it seems x42 has squandered a lot of democratic political capital with the dembase.

I knew your remarks were tongue in cheek ... I chuckled when I read it ... thinking you very clever in your wording.

I also agree about WhiteHouse.gov 'cleaning' up their dialogue.

My response was prompted by my lack of respect for the media ... and an article I read not long ago about how the media 'cleverly' word articles to 'create' the illusion of something happening ... which, in fact, was fiction ... ie/ the rift between Sectry's Rumsfeld and Powell.
