What wonderful pics of Laura - she always seems to glow and look so serene, fresh and lovely.
I have missed the Dose the last couple of days so this is a special treat.

Those small-minded Bush bashers are gonna have a fit when they see that our beautiful first lady spoke at the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center and was kissed by Mohammed Ali. Gasp! (I love it.)
To: SevenofNine
Well, I think all the boxing certainly didn't help his physical state.

And how many more of us fantasize getting the first reply, but haven't actually put our dreams into action -- the competition is just too tough.
To: MamaB
Er...will someone please tell me who Janice is? Am I praying for her? If not, I will.

Laura received rave reviews for her interviews before and her comments during the "Underground Railway" ceremony in Cincinnati. In fact, Channel 3 went so far as to declare her (based on feedback from viewers) one of America's favorite First Ladies ever!
SPECIAL NOTE: In post #13 (middle pix), Laura is sandwiched between Governor Taft (R, OH -- up for re-election in November) and my congressman, Rob Portman (R, 2nd District, OH). Rob is one of the president's best buds both in life and in Congress -- he's a WONDERFUL person!

Channel 3 went so far as to declare her (based on feedback from viewers) one of America's favorite First Ladies ever! Well, she and her mother-in-law are tied for my favorite First Lady (of my lifetime). They leave the others in the dust.

Don't mean to be nosy, just very interested.
MamaB posts frequently, does her daughter also post? And what is daughter's screen name? And what is her condition exactly?

I was almost #1 one night, but Howlin beat me. Rintense told me Howlin had a rough day on some of the threads and deserved to be #1. I had to accept it, but have emotional scars and have been in analysis ever since. I chewed Howlin out but good. Bet she never does that again, lol.

Our daughter has had many health problems for the past few years. She got a stomach virus and could not get over it. She has had trouble keeping anything down--food or liquid for the past week. She would get better and whatever she had would come back. Thankfully, the hospital is not that far from the house so I can come and go there without too many traffic problems. I got on the internet and looked up potassium problems and that goes hand in hand with magnesium problems. They are both very much needed by the body to function. MamaB
