I wonder how many death-threats Vines has gotten from the disciples of the "religion of peace?" He would be wise to watch his back, given the history of Mohammed's disciples.
A lengthy passage from the Hadith, volume 1, book 1, chapter 1, shows that Muhammad himself believed he was under demonic influence, but it notes that Muhammads wife is the one who deemed his experience as divine, said Ergun.
Certainly no political purpose, but a religious purpose? Absolutely. This was a religious conference, and Reverend Vines was contrasting Jesus and Mohammed. Mohammed spoke of himself in the Hadith traditions as "demon possessed," and the speculation is that he had epilepsy. He also married girls at an age that would have him prosecuted for statutory rape in the United States. Reverend Vines should not be excoriated for defending his religion, or pointing out facts garnered from Muslim religious tradition.
I thought so when I first heard the comments but now I don't know. Vines may have begun a flushing out of the crazies. That is a good thing.
Muhammad was a pedophile and was demonic in his exhortations to his followers. Any objective reading of the record will show this to be true.
Vines was correct in substance and politically incorrect in voicing it.
Islam is evil. Case closed.
Islam is above criticism if you want to live a long life. Watch the Pastor cave to the pressure, or even threats behind the scenes.
This issue of the comments is great because it brings to the forefront people's attention to the Koran. It's generating interest among the people as to who these people really are and what they really believe and the destruction that they are capable of.

"No more witnesses your honor, I rest my case."
Uhhh...
What part of that isn't true?
Subjective? Married a six year old and consumated the relationship at age nine? If you don't call it pedophilia, what do you call it?
It certainly seems logical that Mohammed would have been possessed considering the violent nature of his teachings. Regardless, the Hadith indicates that Mohammed considered himself to be under demonic influence. (see #2)
It's time to clear the air regarding this religion. Let the debate begin.
