It appears a lot of these terrorists were allowed into the country by democrats, who opened the floodgates hoping the country's new guests would target Republicans at the polls, little caring that instead they'd end up targeting everything and everybody with bombs.
It's not only the liberals. I was totally surprised at the large number of posters in this very forum who expressed those views yesterday. They just don't get it - maybe they think September 11 was a bad dream.
From what I saw, it was a relatively small group, but few took the time to seriously debate them so they felt free to plaster their idiocy all over the place.
It's not polite to talk about people without pinging them to the thread.
Furthermore, you folks would strip people of citizenship and hold them indefinately without charging them on no more evidence than the government's say-so.

Considering how HUGE the Nation of Islam is in the US prison system, I was wondering months ago why there weren't more US nationals being captured in Afghanistan/Pakistan....then I was afraid they were all over HERE, quietly plotting.....now it turns out it's probably BOTH. BTW: if Musharraf hoped to make some diplomatic points off the US in retaliation of the proposed Indian/US border "observation" of the LoC...he's failing miserably. These immigrants were suppose to become full-fledged members of the welfare state upon naturalization and vote for more liberal democrats to increase their benefits. My guess is that they were disappointed with their first check after a long wait in line at the welfare office and decided to pick up the sward of Islam and simply take what they want.
In addition to checking out all current aliens from these countries. The AG should order a review of the files of all naturalized aliens from mid-east countries over the last ten years to weed out the sleepers.
