WE ARE AT WAR.

Correction, we are not at war. Please refer to the constitution for an explanation.

CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS DO NOT APPLY TO ENEMY COMBATANTS.

That is correct. And as soon as it can be shown that this person, who is currently charged with rape, is determined to be an enemy combatant, he should be treated in accordance with our policies on that matter.

You really should brush up on your history and constitutional studies. It might help with your hysteria.

Should we have given any special attention in 1941 to male German "students" and "workers" in their twenties who slipped into the USA in the late 1930s?

Or should we have only investigated them after acts of sabotage and assasinations where there was direct "courtroom" proof of their guilt?

Hoo-boy, not another one. An effective teaching method is to have a student find out where he's wrong by asking him questions, so he can resolve his mistake.

Let's start: why did the Founding Fathers think it was a good idea for Congress to "declare war", instead of the President?
