I am not directing this comment to or at any specific person on this thread but what I have seen here, and on other threads about this case, is wild speculation with no factual basis. In the past, one of the great values of FR was that the wheat got separated from the chaff but on far too many threads these days, spreading the chaff around seems to be the point rather than looking for the wheat. We are all entitled to voice our opinions, as long as they are within the guidelines that JimRob has established, but it would be more beneficial if people would stick to a discussion of facts and issues rather than unfounded guesses about what is happening.
Oh, are my comments invalid? What ARE my comments?
No one on this thread, or on this forum so far as I know, is intimately involved in this case and knows the slightest bit about what's going on with it, enough to even venture an educated opinion.
So, why do I have to take that back? It's true, isn't it?
Where have I given my opinion as to "whodunnit"? Nowhere, that's where.
Now, speculation is all well and good, and a comment like "the way they're handling this makes me wonder if someone isn't hiding something" is perfectly reasonable.
But that's not what you have. You have "I KNOW that this person's hiding something; I'll be blahblahblah did thisandthat and now they're running around trying to get everyone's story straight." Or "It's obvious that a family member took the girl to save her from something horrible that was happening to her, it's probably the father's molesting her."
That's just GARBAGE.
I trust I've clarified my position, and you won't have to bother to make any more stupid-*ss snide comments.
