It actually sounds as though the Democratic Left is getting a bit hysterical over being caught in a political bed with the advocates of a perverted mockery of human sexuality.
It is really pretty silly, and will not be missed by anyone with common sense. The defence of traditional Western values is described by these folk as "bigoted and divisive"; but it is apparently quite rational for their Attorney General to sue to Boy Scouts, because the Boy Scouts do not want to hire men who have renounced the male role, to be male role models for boys who hope someday to develop into men.
The Left has become intellectually pathetic over this issue. They will keep this silly business up until enough Conservatives make it more of an issue, and pin their ears back with it. It should have been given more play in 2000. Hopefully, Conservatives running for office this fall will make the most of opportunities such as this.

Steve Largent, the former Congressman conservative, from Tulsa is running for Governor. This should boost his campaign even more. Four of our five Congressmen (all GOP Members) and are two Senators are Conservatives.

Gets very old and now I am beginning to think it is part of the RAT talking point papers which says a lot about some folks on here doesn't it?

"Freepers" are defending the ADL now. What is next? Praising NOW and the NAACP for the good work they do?

The SA had a lot of gay members but Hitler turned on homos after the Roehm Putsch actually and did send many to death camps like the Jews.

That's an interesting historical note of which I was aware, but my commentary was not meant to imply that gay people have not historically faced persecution as a result of their lifestyle, but rather it is an inappropriate analogy for the gay community to compare thier treatment in modern American society to how Jews were treated in Nazi Germany.
