Question about the OKC bombing and the latest Al Qaeda guy caught at O’Hare.

Can someone post a side-by-side comparison of the “Arab” John Doe sketch from the OKC bombing and the sketch released today of the Al Qaeda guy nabbed at O’Hare, please.

It may be just me but at a glance they look similar.

Chicago Sun-Times article this morning has Padilla in Afghanistan and Pakistan at some point in the early 90's. I suspect he attended one or more of the Islamists' training camps between '93 and '95.

YES, POST#117 IS DOCTORED! The picture on the right has the hair of the picture on the left. Quite "clever", b/c it sure does make them look more similiar.

I AM following the thread. I have been following all these threads for two freaking days! The problem is that for people who are just scanning the thread, the POSTER SHOULD HAVE DISCLOSED THE DOCTORING. You are the one that didn't see it there or in the morph. YOU NEED TO FOLLOW THE THREAD!

The difference is the eyes. The eyebrows are the same but the eyes are not. However, a police sketch is only as accurate as the witness giving the information. There are more likenesses than not. It's the eyes.

get a grip folks. Applying a similar(or the same) hair style is NOT "doctoring" since hair style (and length) are natural changes requiring no, and not necessarily intending, deception. You certainly shouldn't accuse anyone of trying to "fool" you.

this padilla guys is close, but the earlier stuff that archy & mizsterious have posted is a dead ringer IMO.

Yeah, I'll have to bring in my disk with last year's index on it- I don't recall the FReepthread URL right off the top of my head. I saved most of the pics to disk as well, just in the event some of those threads just *happened* to disappear, as they sometimes have a habit of doing so around here....
