Question about the OKC bombing and the latest Al Qaeda guy caught at O’Hare.

Can someone post a side-by-side comparison of the “Arab” John Doe sketch from the OKC bombing and the sketch released today of the Al Qaeda guy nabbed at O’Hare, please.

It may be just me but at a glance they look similar.

May be or may not be....
Herington, KS, where Nichols is from, was settled/founded by a guy named Padilla in the early 1900's. If Lana is also a resident of that area, Padilla may be a relatively common name there. This Padilla name may have no relationship to the dirty-bomb guy.

The dirty-bomb Padilla's mother is Puerto Rican heritage.

This is really weird... It certainly needs to be investigated to find out where this guy was in 04/95. They need to get Nichols into the interrogation room and find out what he knows/doesn't know.

I wonder if the people they interviewed in order to make the sketch would still be reliable enough to identify Padilla out of a lineup.

I've seen a lot of composite sketches on the news that when shown next to the guy they captured look much further apart than this Padilla/JD#2 does. That doesn't make it absolute, but it is a good place to start.

When I saw this guy's picture, it was driving me nuts trying to remember who he looked like. OTOH Poohbah says no, so... ROTFL. A definite possibility IMO.

BTW Padilla was looking for US sources of nuke material for his dirty bomb and was allegedly considering labs, etc. Within the last week or two a bunch of freepers were running a thread about MEs being spotted scouting out hospitals. One of them (Christ Community in Oak Lawn, IL if I remember correctly) was reported to be crawling with Feds directly after a hospital employee's confrontation with one of the MEs.

I saw that in one of the articles the John Doe character was wearing a baseball cap and then I read in an article about the bomber that he wore a Yankees cap. I wonder if anyone noticed what type of cap the John Doe wore.

archy/Misterious: can you put up the JD2 pix compared to the ME from OKC w/ 1st & last names beginning w/ the letter "A".

this padilla guys is close, but the earlier stuff that archy & mizsterious have posted is a dead ringer IMO.
