Get 'em started early on the math-phys, Gramps... That's all I got to say... That's where the jobs are.

I bought into this bill of goods; got a chemical engineering degree a few years ago. One of the dumber things I've done, in fact -- wish I could go back and study art or something, instead. I couldn't get an engineering job at all for a good long while, then finally I got my present job as a mindless bureaucrat.

*sigh* :(

Yes, make sure that the brain washing is in full effect before exposing him to that old EVIIIIILLL evolution theory.

Sorry....I disagree. Had we been racial or ethnic profiling the morning of Sept. 11th, it would have worked. Arab Muslims boarding planes with one way tickets and all carrying box cutters and some who were on NCIC already for suspicion. It could not have hurt other than to offend the sensibilities of folks interested in being nice.
Easy to say when one isn't one of those to be "profiled".

"Can you imagine everyone in the neighborhood hating your guts and wanting to kill you, yet all the doors and windows are left wide open?"

So if we kick out all non-citizens right now and close our borders, but a terrorist attack by a native born American of non-Arab descent succeeds, the government should have done....what, exactly to prevent it? It's happened here before.

If every Arab Moslem non-citizen was deported tomorrow, would there be less terrorists in the country?

I'll tell you, Grandpa Dave. You sit down and you take a look at someone like Ramsey Clark. You know that he is a flat out Marxist, a member of the Worlds Workers Party, waiting for a Stalinist uprising to overthrow the government.

You then take a look at who he allies himself with. You see him speaking up Islam, and defending Mumia. You see him having dialogs with Saddam Hussein. You see one of his cohorts, attorney Lynn Stewart, get nailed for aiding and abetting a terrorist.

You know for a fact that this guy is an enemy of everything our country stands for.

Then you look at what he says about current events, and what the people who follow him say about current events. And they sound exactly like people who come to these Free Republic threads saying "I don't believe this for one second" or "this is how the Nazis took power in Germany" or "our Constitutional liberties are being stolen if we don't wake up".

I just wonder if these folks consciously know that they are spouting the propaganda of the allies of terrorists, or if they are doing it quite accidentally.

Actually our grand daughter has been able to count accurately up to 20 since she was about 20 months old. We walk up and downstairs, holding hands, and she would count the steps up to 20. Then, she would turn around and start over. She recognizes the numbers 1 through ten on a little portable computer we gave her last Christmas. She just turned 3.

For months before her third birthday, I would ask her how old she was. She would hold up two fingers. Then I would hold up one finger and say, "If we add this one finger to your two fingers, what do we have!" She would then hold up three fingers and say three.

Since she was just a few months old, she has wanted to be read to. As soon as she could crawl, and we went to visit, she would crawl over to her library and grab several books for us to read to her.

Her 15 month old brother could care less about books or being read to. We think that he will probably be a middle linebacker and will read defenses.

Her dad, our son, refers to those worthless/dead end degrees as instant unemployment degrees. The kids get the degree and walk across the stage into instant unemployment with no training nor value to anyone who hires them.

Easy to say when one isn't one of those to be "profiled".

I'm a man, I'm profiled every time I get on an elevator alone with a woman.

If I'm walking down the street at night and a cop passes, he mentally profiles me differently than if I was a woman.

These are small examples, granted, but profiling is common sense. Having my 14 year-old daughter undergo random searches at airports at the same rate as Middle Eastern men 17 to 40 is not common sense.

Wars are not won without common sense.

Ramsey Clark has probably been on the payroll of the Opecker Princes since the days of Jimmy Carter.

Remember the first phone Peace March in DC after 9/11?

It was funded, directed and controlled by the Ramsey Clark hate America people.

You also pointed out, You see one of his cohorts, attorney Lynn Stewart, get nailed for aiding and abetting a terrorist.

Of course the left wing maggot infested/Pro Ramsey Clark mediots have buried this story!

Ramsey Clark has worked 24/7 with the enemies of America for over 3 decades.

Don't have time to read the entire thread. Knee jerk reaction is FBI/CIA needed a win.

Guess I'm getting cynical in my old age.

I sure do. I wrote all about it in the article I linked to above (where I excerpted the Ramsey Clark quotes from).

As long as the guy is guilty of what he is being charged with, I have no problem with them taking a win. Especially since Daschle and company (and the far left like Ramsey Clark and company) are badly wanting them to not get any wins.

Comment: Jose Padilla? I thought he came here just to do the jobs that Americans won't do or are too lazy to do. Like nuke the place?

The 31-year-old is a native of Brooklyn, N.Y., who moved to Chicago at age 4.

Sounds like a US citizen to me.

I have trouble with your new persona, and I keep forgetting all the great work you have done with documenting this traitor to America and Americans/Ramsey Clark.

Either that or Congress would have to re-think the EPA Rad Standard.

That would have the California, Oregon, and Washington State congressional delegations' knickers in a major twist. Relaxed environemntal regulations? Perish the thought!

I already directed him to the info, which he claims to have read, but his tin foil hat is on too tight and logic and information can't penetrate it.
