The abolishment of slavery was really a constitutional scam and the 14th Amendment that allegedly made African people citizens of America was imposed on us. We were never asked if we wanted to be citizens.

Fine, all "non-citizens" can have a one-way ticket back to that paradise Africa.

From what I see, they are all coming over here.

Okay. Here we go.

I understand where you are coming from. I really do. But this statement (which is said all the time concerning this issue on FR) is overrunning with flawed logic. Question: How do you go "back" where you've never been?

You can't.

Now, if you mean that those American blacks who think that the U.S. of A. is a hellhole should emigrate to Africa, not only would you be right, I would loudly agree with you!

But you can't go "back" where you've never been. I've told other blacks who "enlightened" me that America is this and America is that they are free to go, and that are free to alleviate themselves of the abuse they think that they suffer by simply leaving. I have no problem raising the point that there is no solida ilegal here like there is in Castro's Cuba. Of course, this enrages them all the more. But it's true. I tell them that you most certainly can't go "back" to Africa, but, you can leave and relocate there any time you wish.

I am positive I read and learned right here on this forum that President Monroe offered them a ticket back to Africa; I wonder how many of them took him up on it?

Thousands upon thousands of Africans arrive in America every year and are they ever happy to be here! All I hear is: "Thank God for America!" and "I can finally achieve my goals!" and "Peace and freedom finally!" etc etc. Within a few years they are earning more than native born Black "brothers" who just don't get it. (I am generalizing of course). I suggest that we do an exchange: disagruntled self styled Americans of whatever percentage Black to be given a ticket to Africa (Just like Garvey wanted) in exchange for Black Africans who cannot wait to get here.
