We bless You, O Lord, the God of Israel, from everlasting to everlasting. Help us to be still and know that You are God. You shall be exalted among the nations; You shall be exalted in the earth.
O God, You know the sin and foolishness of this nation, and our guilt is not hidden from You. Help us to confess our sins, Lord, and to seek Your forgiveness. For You, O Lord, have said, "Come now, let us reason together. Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool." According to Your loyal love, please remember us for the sake of Your goodness, O Lord.
Like Josiah, may our President do what is right in Your sight, O Lord. Help him to walk in all the ways of David, not turning aside to the right or to the left. May he turn to You with all his heart and with all his soul and with all his might, in accordance with all of Your Word. Help him to speak the truth to others and judge with truth and justice. Help him to walk before You and be blameless. Please give him great endurance and patience with joy. Help him to never fear his adversaries, but instead let him remember You, the One who is great and awesome.
Holy Father, we hold up to You all the judicial nominees who have been sent to the Senate committee by President Bush. We ask You to move in the hearts of the senators to allow these nominees to come to full senate vote. Tear down the strongholds that exist in the committee members who persist in blocking the reasonable consideration of these nominees. Hear our prayer for the future Supreme Court nominees also, Lord. Please give us men and women who are obedient to You and who seek to preserve the freedom and liberties afforded us by our Constitution.
Since Your day, O Lord, will come like a thief, what kind of people should we be? In holy conduct and godliness we are to look forward to Your coming day. According to Your promise, we are looking for a new heaven and a new earth where righteousness will dwell. Therefore, since we are looking for these things, may we be diligent to be found at peace with You, pure and blameless before You. Hear our prayers until that glorious day, Dear Lord. In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray, Amen.
So, I'll say a prayer for the appointment of good judges--which is a matter of vital concern to our country. But if your AV program isn't up-to-date, don't wait long to do something about it.
You are an inspired treasure.
This is an anointed idea and I felt my spirit stirred strongly when I saw the title on the ping. You might want to make this a prayer focus for two consecutive weeks.
May the good Lord continue to fill your mind to overflowing with His thoughts and prayers, and lead us all in the overthrow, through intercession, of everything the enemy has planned, for this country, our president and his administration, and the prayer efforts of all who intercede for these things.

Dear God, I pray You will blast open a hole in the obstructions of the enemy of freedom that have strangled the flow of judicial appointments in our Senate. I well remember that the lawyer, John Adams, opposed Senate approval of judicial nominees, believing it was a power that should rest with the president. I believe his desire was Your wisdom, but since we cannot have that, let us now have Your strong and mighty arm moving to sweep away all that hinders our judiciary being set on its feet in righteousness.
Untangle the mess that the enemy of our souls has created in these blocks. Let us see Your power as You dismantle every device by which he works to stall justice. Let us see Your mighty arm move now on the lesser appointments, let us see Your anointing that breaks every yoke come into the Senators who have obstructed the administration of justice -- put reason back into their minds, and Your anointing on the Senators who will work with You, to get the lesser appointments moving with such grace and peace that when the USSC justices want to retire, they can do so. Let us no longer be held hostage to the enemy working through our Senate! Break this logjam and send it flowing smoothly down the river of divine justice. And bring us only good and faithful men and women to the posts of Senate-confirmed judges. In Jesus' lovely Name, amen.
Father I ask that you give truth and perspective to Congress concerning the judicial appointments. O Lord, do not allow the enemy to blindfold the judges of this nation! Expose darkness, hard-heartedness or unfairness where it exists. Bring to us true justice, that our congress and courts will do for this country what they were designed to do.
We need you every hour. Thank you Lord, for being here. Greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world.

God, I also pray for the extraordinary fears the obstructionists have that Bush will fill the court system with conservatives. Work with their minds to get them to uphold their sworn Constitutional duty, and work with their spirits to convict them that they cannot hold the system hostage till a liberal president is elected. Work on them night and day by Your grace to release them from these fears. Replace their fears with Your living Word and wisdom, which, once implanted within them, will lead them to act rightly.
Dear Jesus, at this most auspicious time we direct our humble prayers to the safety and well-being of our President Bush. Endow him and his administration with wisdom, courage and patience. Protect their families and also our Ditto-Jed from all physical and spiritual harm..There must be truth hidden within our walls that we now learn attacks on our members. Only the evil one could concoct strategy such as is taking place. Dear Jesus cover us under Your wings, make us never falter in our love for You. Help our statesmen elect men of integrity to our Supreme Court. Above all men of courage who will uphold the laws of the nation. We pray in the name of Jesus
