If I heard correctly, soon after it was reported that Elizabeth was missing her father said something about a neighborhood girl being taken for ransom years ago and ran to a neighbors house to tell him to check on his kids.
If this is true then it is the only thing so far that raises a red flag with me concerning the father. It just strikes me the wrong way but even still there may not be anything to it but erratic behavior. But it may not have happened the way I read it. Details are hard to get and to a large degree should be hard to get.

I thought that was about 9-10 years ago. The family didn't live in the neighborhood at that time.
