Dear Heavenly Father,
I thank You for this day and for the blessings within it. I thank You for the peace and comfort You have given us in this nation and for showing us that You are with us. I thank You for pouring out Your Spirit in an altogether lovely way upon souls across this nation and pray that this will occur more and more in the days to come. Lord, we pray for revival of this nation for without You we are nothing and will be nothing.

Father, I lift up President Bush and ask that You would be with him to guard him and to guide him in all of his ways. Give him discernment and the will to do right. Give him a heart that desires knowledge and truth and that doesn't stray from You. And, protect him, Lord by Your power and might.

Watch over the Wednesday evening services in our churches Lord and may Your Word quicken those who do not know You and be an encouragement and edification to those who do.

For it is in the precious and holy and wonderful name of Christ Jesus my Lord that I pray, Amen.

Father, call the hearts of your people to prayer. Let us join with many others tonight to ask for Your strength, wisdom, understanding, pease, and rest. To ask that you will shed your love and favor on those who in places of governing. To release your mercies to those who are searching for you and those who have found you. I pray for this nation, and for the people of Israel, and for those on the battlefield. Show yourself strong in their behalf, in the name of Jesus.

3 Thou dost keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee, because he trusts in thee.

Heavenly Father,

We praise You among the peoples, O Lord, and we sing of You among the nations. For Your merciful love is higher than the heavens, and Your truth reaches to the skies. Let us never cease to give thanks that we can worship You in this nation.

Father, we know that if we confess our sins, You are faithful and just and will forgive us and purify us from all unrighteousness. We confess that we have sinned as a nation, and we seek Your mercy and grace toward America. Father, awaken our consciences to all the ways that we blindly accept the worldly view and fail to abide by Your laws. Help us to receive the power of the Spirit to discern and give us the desire to be obedient to You in all aspects of our lives. Convict us to dwell in the beauty of Your holiness not only on Sunday, but throughout every day of the week. Show us ways to honor You in everything we do. We call on You, our Father, who judges each person’s work impartially. Help us to conduct ourselves in fear and reverence during our time upon this earth.

Father, we pray that President Bush would keep Your commandments and walk in Your ways. May he follow You and fear You; may he hear Your voice, serve You with all his heart, and hold fast to You. Help him to be careful and watch himself closely, lest he forget the things his eyes have seen or let them depart from his heart as long as he lives. May Your commandments be upon his heart, that he may teach the Word to his daughters, and to their children after them. May he not take revenge upon his enemies, but help him to leave vengeance to You. You will repay. Let him not be overcome by evil but overcome evil with good. Help him to be strong and courageous. Let him not be afraid or discouraged, for You, O Lord, will be with him wherever he goes.

We rejoice in You always, O Lord, for You have called us, and Christ Jesus is our hope. Let us carry that hope in our hearts so that we may be ready and willing to share it with others we meet. Thank You for Your faithfulness, Great God. We love You, Father, and we praise the Mighty and Awesome Lord Jesus Christ, in whose name we pray. Amen.

In addition to praying for President Bush, our military, and our nation, I am also praying fervently for Israel and for a peaceful resolution in the India/Pakistan situation.

"May the Sacred Heart of Jesus be adored, glorified, loved and preserved throughout the world now and forever Amen."

Dear Jesus we humbly ask You to preserve the peace between the countries of India and Pakistan. May these nations be ever mindful of the millions of others they will place in jeopardy by using the nuclear in hopes that they may accomplish their agenda. May common sense prevail. In the name of Jesus we pray
