Wow -- a voice of reason. Too bad Rush doesn't hear from FReepers such as yourself more often. I resent the fact that the kooks are doing their best to give people the impression that they are "the face" of Free Republic.

This isn't about whether Bush and Rush are patriots or not. I think they're both patriots. I don't think Bush and Rush are playing off each other either. That's too convoluted. And this isn't about criticizing the President or the Republican Party either.

What this is all about, is Rush Limbaugh doing what is best for his radio show and nothing else. If that means Rush stepping over the line and insulting the President, now we know, so be it. Rush is a conservative Republican, but his main interest and concern in life, is the success of his radio show. I defy anyone to tell me, that Rush has a more important issue in his life, then his radio show. Rush is an entertainer, first and foremost and that's not ever gonna change.
