Miss Bushbot doesn't care what you think, nor does the Bushbot name strike fear in me. You can go pound sand.
To: Matchett-PI
"Bush (Shanklin) is singing the ditty. It's GREAT!!!" Good song, but Shanklin's Dubyuh sounds eerily like his Clinton...MUD
To: Miss Marple
I don't care what you post, or were you post it, just try not to repeat the same post over and over!
I know you aren't listening to Rush anymore! I'm sure Rush is making adjustments to save his show as we speak! And I know that your comments, "Poor Rush...he could have been a contender...", (as pompous and unusual as they are) deeply hurt Rush's feelings... NOT!
If Bush raised taxes today, (since we are at war for cryin' out loud!) would you support it? Tell me, what would it take before you even think of criticizing the President? Defense cuts? New Welfare programs? Nationalized health care?
To: Southack
I never took the G.W. Algore reference to mean that Dubya is exactly like Gore. It was a comment on the last few actions by Bush.
Everyone knows that Rush doesn't think that Bush is EXACTLY like Gore.
To: ArneFufkin
Well said Fufkin, thanks!

Ummm ... adjective or maybe adverb. Not verb.

Truth is he thinks everyone on FR is a nutbag.No. He understands the difference between "Bush-bots" and people who are able to think for themselves. Free Republic means just that. The freedom to support or criticize, the right of the individual to think for themselves and not succumb to the sheeple mentality just to toe the line with what everyone else thinks (or is told). I've been listening for years. I've never heard him say any such thing. Can you give us one example where he has actually stated FReepers are all nutbags on the air?
To: Matchett-PI
BUMP your #14....I've been thinking similar thoughts watching all this unfold....darn I had the radio off when Rush made the 'Freeper' remark!
To: Miss Marple
Actually, I will never listen to him again. The George W. Algore thing was the last straw, as well as the morph on his web site. I won't e-mail him, though. I WILL make sure I call the local station and also will fill out the Arbitron ratings. He could have been a contender. "Pride goeth before a fall, and a haughty spirit before destruction." Party over principle again!?
Baaaa...Baaaaaaaaaaa!!....Baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!

"I found it odd that Rush spouted the Democratic Party line in 1992, berating Bush Sr. for his Gulf War tax compromise and handing the election to Clinton by causing a wave of Conservatives to vote for Perot instead of Bush." The credit for causing a wave of Conservatives to vote for Perot should go to GHWB himself. His complete abandonment of Reagan's principles is what started the tsunami.

I thought it was just what the doctor ordered....... :)
To: Miss Marple
Don't you dare fall for the hairhorse set up in #123! Fuggetaboutit - just more folks who have opted out....

We need thicker skins than that. It's just a little graphic, not particularly funny.
The Democrats will be doing far worse, and we need to learn to laugh in their faces when they try.
To: ArneFufkin
You are right-on in your statements.
To: ArneFufkin
Dog, I will no longer refer any conservative or GOP acquaintance to this place. Rush is right on. Look at the threads on FR ... this place is LewRockwell 2. It's been seized. Mexican Immigration, Civil War Grievences, Bush's Betrayals to Conservatives, conspiracies and intrigue ... it's cuckoo corner. Yeah...right. Just because it isn't yours and Miss Maple's private amen corner to everything Bush doesn't mean that it is all bad. How many times do you need to be reminded that this is NOT a Republican website. This is from the front page:
Free Republic is an online gathering place for independent, grass-roots conservatism on the web. We're working to roll back decades of governmental largesse, to root out political fraud and corruption, and to champion causes which further conservatism in America.
If you're looking for the Republican cheerleaderbot website which exercises Taliban-like control upon what is said and thought, you might want to check with your RNC masters.

Yes, party over YOUR principles! The MOST important thing politically is to get a Republican majority in the Senate and House so that we can get the judicial nominees confirmed. The MOST important thing for national security is winning the war on terror.
All else is nothing but noise. Stand on your "principles" if you like, but I know that John Edwards, Hillary Clinton, or Al Gore will be a disaster for this country.
To: Texaggie79
Obviously, we Bush-bots are getting boring withour repetitive comments, while you Rush-bots are startlingly brilliant with your rejoinders.
However, I must point out that while I know that Rush doesn't think Bush is just like Algore, his posting of the oh-so-clever morph of Bush into Gore was a result of his too-hasty reaction to the leak reported by Drudge and the NY Times of the EPA memo.
If he were being as fair as he claims, he would have waited to see what Bush had to say about it. He didn't. He went off on a rant and put the odious picture on his website.
The next day he was all, "folks, here's the real picture, I've talked to the White House" ... The White House said, I'm a big house and you're a big jerk, let's talk.

Maybe your vaunted principles warm your heart at night, but why should anyone care that you have decided to elevate your political philosophy as a new secular religion? The endless chest pounding from your types over how pure, how much smarter, how much more decent you are as people because of your principles, is contemptible considering we are at WAR.It's self indulgent jerking off to rail about trivial matters just so you can appear to be oh so independent. Or maybe you know how unserious you are and all the crap from your types is a pathetic cry in the wilderness.
To: Scuttlebutt
Furthermore, I remember 1992. Rush mercilessly ridiculed Perot, and tried to persuade people not to waste their time, votes and money on "The Little General."
