Hi. No. VG has always been like this! I remember being THRILLED when I read that he was right wing! I didn't feel so alone!!! Other weird edgy right wingers were out there!! I met another weird edgy right winger another time. I never met VG, but I felt akin to his politics and loved that movie.

I know this is from a *gay* rag, but Vincent is someone you all should know about, especially the younger set here. Why?

Whoops! I'm sorry. Gallo wasn't in the first 'Freeway'; I got him mixed up with Michael Weiss. He WAS in the sequel. I haven't seen the sequel. However, the first one comes highly recommended, if you have the stomach.

Vincent isn't gay...btw. He doesn't like gays. See the interview.

Freeway is a GREAT movie...

Well, I'll be. I have seen that guy in a few movies. I always thought I was looking at
this guy.
Joaquin Phoenix (Well, they do look a little alike.)

Vincent Gallo is one of the only interesting people left in this cruel, cruel world. With all of the creeps taking over the world of music, art, and film, Vincent has been real through it all. Vincent is the most underated and unappriecated artist in america and it makes me want to vomit on my brand new shoes when mainstream assholes belittle him for his actions. |

Prince Vince is a god among men. No other actor today has the emotion and powerful pull of truth as Vincent does. he is a genius. I am a film major, and after seeing his film Buffalo66, i almost died. it was the most beautiful piece of art i have ever seen. So raw and honest. It truly is as close as any of us could ever get to knowing and/or understanding Mr. Gallo. he is a man to be feared, loved and respected. I just hope other nancypants actors such as Tom Hanks, Leonardo DiCaprio and Russel Crowe can learn from the brilliance of Vincent. All actors and actresses, producers and directors should own a copy of Buffalo and should watch it before doing any work of their own. He truly is a master in his field. Bravo Gallo |

Wow! In that photo they DO look very much alike! But I think VG is much much skinnier (he is drug/alcohol/caffeine free btw). Wouldn't that be *interesting* if Joaquin became a Republican after having such crappy hippie parents who basically sold the children out, and were in The Children Of God pedophile cult? I always thought that River was molested as a child, and I think that's why he became a junkie. He did sort of say his virginity was taken from him as a little boy, so if you put two and two together...hippies, imho, made/make the WORST parents EVER. In fact any so-called bohemian sub group like gays, punks, etc. make the very worst parents.

I really want to hate you, Vincent Gallo. You're an uncontrolled ranter who spits out right-wing ideology. You use words like spic, dyke, Jew and commie in interviews. What is wrong to call a nationalist a nationalist? Aren't dykes proud of dyke power?

Jeeze! The guy looks just like a highschool friend of mine, one R.T.Bogart. I wonder if RT fathered a son in some of his perigrenations. The last I saw of him, he was operating a tilt-a-whirl in a traveling carnival.

Vincent Gallo reminds me a lot of someone I know...myself, albeit with more acting and artistic talent.

In the 1960's, the baby boomers were rebelling against "the system" (which was perceived to be right wing in school, the media, and in politics).
Today, schools, the media, and politics are perceived to be left wing.
So what will today's teens rebel against?!
It's safe to say that it won't be "hip" to be a Leftie in five years...

I take his conservatism as being real as he makes Johnny Ramone's top 10 Republicans list (he has no such list of Democrats). Johnny has probably had some discussions with him at some point.
Did the author use the phrase right-wing enough times in that article or what? It's because of that I am willing to overlook the author's attempts at race-baiting.

Buffalo 66 is a remarkable accomplishment as he wrote/directed/starred/scored the movie. His dad is the singer on the "Fools Rush In (Where Angels Fear to Tread)" recording. I dug it. My friends liked it but I've run across people that really didn't like this film.

Rose McGowen (Brian 'Marilyn Munster' Warner's ex-fiancee) was also a member of the Children of God cult. She continues to act out to this day.

one of the most interesting things about
buffalo 66 is the main character (gallo's) is obsessed with buffalo bills kicker scott norwood (renamed in the movie). norwood's famous missed kick at the end of superbowl xxv is the plot device for sending gallo's character to jail. he had bet heavily on the bills and couldn't pay. the bookie makes him take the rap for some other crime as payment.
(offtopic even further - don't even think of bashing norwood for missing the kick. it was 47 yards. anything less than 45, yea, he should make it. shut up. i'm not listening.)
