I honestly don't know why someone who stands for a basic principle would loose listeners, especially when his only crime is pointing out the hypocracy of Bush. I'm in Texas, I voted for him 3 times, twice as Governor. As Governer, he would states things and make it happen. So far W seems to have turned into our Clinton. Someone who said alot of things to get elected and stabs the base in the back. I'm not blinded by this "Stand by your President in times of war!" Its a Bullsh!t war being used as an excuse to trample on our freedoms. For what you think of Rush, it was only after he showed much distain for this phoney enviormental report (after W's hypocrical stance on not getting natural gas in the Everglades but wanted drilling in the Artic) produced by Christie (what me a liberal?) based on data that the Clinton Administration used that was already discreditied as "junk science", that W decided to dismiss it half heartedly wiht a snide remark. I'm still waiting on him to say "I don't support this report and in no way do I believe it, then retract it from the UN. Think it'll happen?

I don't like the fact that Rush is badmouthing Bush, but he is using the truth to do it. Its all about votes to W now, it seems to me. He has surrendered on every promise he made to his base (with the exception of a tax cut) If this was Clinton, you'd be calling W a lying scumbag. But since he seems to have an air of "credibility" in his down home charisma, anyone who dares critizes Bush is considered a traitor. Sorry but I hold 'W' to the same standands as I held Clinton to. Call it what you will, but at least Rush, as well as myself, aren't going to be blinded by someone who says he's conservative and acts liberal!

What? The President didn't check with you to make sure that he says just what you want him to say? I am shocked. Surely that is all the reason we need to take to the ramparts. Good grief. You folks sure are easily peeved.

Bommer, why don't you explain to all of us what George W. Bush should do RIGHT NOW ... going forward ... to "make it happen." How can he get, say, a Capital Gains tax cut to ZERO, or any other conservative legislation you expect him to make happen? I'm all ears. I see a divided Congress. I see a Constitutional separation of powers. I see impasse. But, then, I'm a gloomy Gus.

Tell me your strategy. Bush would like to know, too. Any issue you choose, give us the formula.
