"'I read the report put out by the bureaucracy,' Bush said dismissivly... "
More to come, I'm sure

Too bad. Too late. Dye is cast and the whiners are now hysterical with glee.
chesty_puller: Holding breath.
Don't do that, chesty! I don't want you to die!
;-)
Job well done yesterday - as today's comments by President BUsh indicate.
What I cannot understand is Rush using the NY Times - going with its version of things - in order to bash the President. RUSH should APOLOGIZE!
For God's sake -
1. We are a nation at War and at risk every day
2. There is a threat of a nuclear war right now that could explode any moment between India and Pakistan
3. The hearings about the Intelligence failures are going on and with them all Americans are made less comfortable about the state of our "defenders"
4. The Stock market is teetering on the brink of a true blowout
5. And - most importantly to the Demoncreeps - the elections are coming up.
Whatever the NY Times can do to discourage the "Base" of the Republican party - it will be doing....Doesn't Rush understand that?
We are not in "normal" times in this country.
Our President and his team have their plates full to overflowing - and do NOT NEED sniping from their "friends".
If the President is disgusted - I don't blame him. He should be. This won't be the last time the Liberal/Commie press puppets do Hillary's and the DNC bidding......
For God's sake - people - we are in a WAR!
This is not a game!
I want all those that backed Bush blindly and agreed with him that global warming was a man-made disaster in the making to claim they are idiots.
LOL!
Remember to read it with insight in mind that this is the third progress report in a series promised during the Clinton/Gore administration that our nation was promising to produce to monitor the issue that some nations love so well. It was not a major policy change report or a major reversal.
All the issues of uncertain science, development and commerce taking equal importance, human vs. natural, and variable effects in different areas were all Sustained in the Bush EPA report! We knew this yesterday if we read reather than reacted, LOL.
I'm sorry for sounding smug, but this crisis-a-day stuff is so lame...its like being the Editorial copy boy at the Weekly Standard: A-Lot-Of-Running-Around-in-Consternation.
The true damage that comes from this will be the intellectual dismissal of the countless studies conservative scientists put forward (at great sacrifice I might add) debunking this nonsense. It goes without saying you will never see another credible scientist stick s/he's neck out over the global warming issue. Since it now been embraced as fact by both the R's and D's, what would be the point?
The "Defend Bush at all Costs" crowd won't recognize this fallout until the House is recaptured by the socialists (most likely this November.)
I tell ya', it's like casting pearls before swine...
